Not a fancy place. We ordered to go and got 1/2 pound hamburgers with all the fixings with 2 sides for $9 each. Generous portions very good burger. Fries, corn on the cob and coleslaw very very good as well.

Honestly, I expected a little bit more from this spot, but overall review would be “just okay”. I enjoyed my time in the restaurant, and was happy with the service we received, but my barbecue sandwich just didn’t hit the spot (lacked flavor and felt like boil-cooked meat). Although, my friend’s chicken fried steak really impressed him and he said he’d return just to order that again. This is a classic in Fort Lauderdale and has been around for roughly 40 years, so they must be doing something right. Willing to give this place another shot, but my experience wasn’t the best. Would encourage you to go and develop your own impressions. I’d be excited to give this place a try for breakfast rather than dinner.

Great tasting food. Unfortunately they’re always either out of Brisket or they don’t serve it “because of prices” (their words). Get the pork instead. Large serving sizes of meats.

Best bang for your buck. Big burger everything you want on it, perfectly cooked to your taste and comes with abundant fries and an extra side.You will not get this anywhere else.
