I recently visited a restaurant that left much to be desired, particularly when it came to its signature dishes. The eggplant parmesan, a dish I was looking forward to, unfortunately missed the mark. The dish was overly oily, and the eggplants themselves were barely noticeable beneath the grease, making for a disappointing experience. The carbonara, while okay, failed to make a lasting impression; it was passable but lacked the distinctiveness one might expect from such a classic dish. Adding to the disappointment was the high price point, which, given the quality of the food, did not feel justified. Overall, the dining experience fell short of expectations, with the food not living up to its potential or the cost.

We live in Aventura and we drive to Ft. Lauderdale for the Luigi experience. We have been coming here for years and the food is always amazing. But tonight the service was extra Special. Kris did a phenomenal job serving us. He was funny and his service was on point. Can’t wait to come back and request Kris as our server. Thanks again?

If you haven't noticed, Ft. Lauderdale seems to have more Italian restaurants than even parts of Italy. Some are worthy of a second visit; but many are not. Tuscan Grill is as worthy as it gets. Most all the favorable reviews speak to the happy hour, but I couldn't get near the bar. Luckily, I didn't have to. My dinner (veal and pasta) was one of the best I have had anywhere in South Florida. If I'd had it in Italy, I would brag about it when I got home. A little hard to notice from the road, but Google Maps knows exactly where it is.

Compared to other las olas restaurants, prices are not expensive. Food is the BEST quality. Pasta is made fresh. Wine list is insane!!! There is a reason they are there 30 years. Romantic & family at the same time. Pumpkin ravioli - insane!. Zuppa de pesce/Frutti de Mar - delicious! Seafood Salad - HUGE! Squid Ink Pasta sometimes Luigi makes it. Ask 4 specials. Truffles, ossobucco, real parm chz, buratta salad, fried calamari SOS, Rack of Lamb, Sea bass, Grilled Octopus w/the Giant BEANS, Mushroom Truffle Parpadelle, Bronzino, Filets, Ribeyes, Garlic Bread is amazing real EVOO! Pizza is amazing. Portions are so large. U can do 1/2 portions of Pasta so u can have it all. Quality food does not make you fat. Have a Italian Digestive They have them all! There is parking. It is a local secret. Don't mess it up plz.
