This is the second day in a row we had breakfast at Ocean 2000. Very disappointing experience yesterday, but totally worse today. Service very very slow with very very high gratuity built-in. Today Belgium waffle ordered for my wife and they said there’s a little bit of problem. 20 minutes later they brought pancakes out for me and bacon but nothing for my wife. The gentleman who brought it was not our server and said there was a miscommunication. I guess you could call it that. I basically left everything sitting there I did drink a cup of coffee though. Truly felt driving down the street to McDonald’s would’ve been better. Don’t go.

This restaurant is completely disorganized with mediocre food. I made a reservation on Resy and spent 20 minutes trying to check in. They couldn't find the Resy reservation. They swore I would not be charged a no show fee. I overpaid for mediocre food and was just charged $60 for no show. Don't go.

We went to Easter brunch. COMPLETE RIP OFF. They charged 105$ a head for brunch buffet. The choice were pathetic. Terrible oysters. Tastes roast beef. Stale croissants.Old sushi. Cold French toast. Totally and utterly disappointing. I felt ripped off. There was zero effort in the buffet. They charge 22% gratuity. The waiters were horrible and one had attitude when we asked for cutlery. Waited 20 minutes for a BLACK COFFEE. When we arrived the valet literally told us to park our own car as the valet was full. Totally annoyed. We were 6 people the bill came to 847.00$. I have no problem paying for a great meal and great experience. This was absolutely not the case. They rely on the fact that they’re on the beach and people will come. The service has gone into the garbage here. We’re literally ate in Miami and tried a tasting menu 2 nights before for 70$ a head and the meal was not even in the same stratosphere. I never wrote reviews. I’m so frustrated. I just had to. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Easter brunch = garbage$105 selection that’s insulting to guests
Horrible experience from the moment we arrived. The hostess (heavy set Latin woman mid to late twenties) was rude, and dismissive. When we politely asked to sit on the veranda she went on a long winded SARCASTIC condescending speech about how she couldn’t seat us on the veranda because of some “policy”. This was never mentioned to us when we made the reservation.Service and food experience was horrible as well. It took 20 minutes to get bread to the table. I guess because 22% gratuity is automatically included they feel no need to actually provide good service. But to make matters worse, when they brought out the food, there was a hair on my wife’s dinner plate. Absolutely disgusting. She lost her appetite and didn’t even eat. You think a manager came out to apologize? NO. They just removed the plate and never returned to even offer an apology. Never have we been to this caliber of restaurant and received this type of poor treatment. Maybe it’s because we’re minority Latinos and the restaurant patrons were ALL white. I guess discrimination runs rampant at this establishment.This was not our first time at the restaurant but it will certainly be our last. Disgusting food and absolutely unacceptable customer service, including the poor management (manager).
