This was my third time staying here but I didn’t really enjoy this stay. The A/C unit was leaking and didn’t cool well… the maintenance guys don’t want to be bothered I felt like.Breakfast is good with many options. $21 a day parking fee…in the summer should give 2 bottles complimentary water bottles coz it’s too hot!Don’t get room by pool if you want privacy too many stares when you walk out the room

The hotel has potential but it needs alot of work. The structure is deteriorating. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was colder than one would need to be comfortable. The beach is right behind the hotel and this made up for the hotel and is why I gave it 4/5 stars.

Best thing was the breakfast! The refrigerator in the room wasn't working, I called the front desk twice and both times was placed on a lengthy hold. I ended up walking down to the front desk to address the matter. It was then resolved in a timely matter.

We stayed for an international judo tournament, as did many other teams from around the world. The staff outdid themselves handling such a large and varied group for almost a week. Our rooms were what was expected and amenities were just right for this size property. The WiFi was a little sub-par, but with a packed hotel, I can understand. The entrance is a little tricky, watch for cars. Perfect central location to Ft Lauderdale attractions and beaches. Overall, a great and convenient spot to stay for anyone from individuals to international judo teams :)

Arrived at 1 am. Got to my room and the beds were stripped and blankets and pillows on chairs. One towel in the bathroom. Had to call the front desk and wait for them to send someone up with a new room key. The “upgrade” for the inconvenience was going from a private balcony to a shared balcony where the shades didn’t close all the way and I got to wake up to people sitting outside my room so I couldn’t even open the shades. I was comped my parking for the inconvenience but no other solutions were offered.

Highly recommend this hotel. I was so pleased with the service I received. Maressa phillips(Frontdesk Manager) went above and beyond to help me find the perfect accommodation for extending my stay. The night before i extended my stay the other front desk agent ( kayla ) was also very nice n friendly. Which means they take pride in helping there guest an practice good hospitality. The first room i had was clean with the perfect ocean view from the balcony. Also the bathroom had n amazingshower. We then went into a suite an it included the whirlpool n also a nice stand up shower.They Have perfect access to the beach and everything in walking distance. Thank you again ladies for the great service.??

After searching and searching for a good price point and amenities, settled on the Oceanside Best Western. Glad we did. Saved 500+ for the week stay. Convenient location just off main stretch. Felt safe entries stay. Breakfast was top notch. Will be back!

Good value for area. Walking distance to nearby resorts, and beach. Hotel needs some general upkeep on the outside and interior of rooms. Beds are comfortable- rooms are clean. Breakfast was a good value in the area.

Big room with refrigerator and microwave, good free breakfast, friendly staff, convenient to beach and Ft Lauderdale Hall of Fame pool. Nice pool at hotel. Impressed with good housekeeping- replacing towels and toiletries.
Property very clean and well kept. Spacious rooms, front desk very friendly, love that they kept our luggage until check in. Downfall, you cannot bring in food during normal business hours unless u eat in your room, which ours did not have anywhere to sit and eat. Also beach access and area was closed while we were there, had to walk a block or two to gain beach access, hard to do when partially disabled, so that was kinda rough and disappointing though not necessarily BW fault, but would have been nice to know before arrival so we could change plans to make easier on me.

Excellent staff, Anna and Robert at the front desk really helpful . Housekeeping did a great job keeping our room fresh over 6 nights, we have stayed 2x and no problem returning to this hotel, in the future

This is a very cozy hotel on the Ft. Lauderdale beach with friendly, helpful, and professional staff. There’s an art deco style to the interior wall colors, artwork and furniture the just welcome you and put you at ease when you enter the lobby. Great job decorating team.

Stay at this hotel every weekend. Front desk staff, housekeeping, retuarant are all friendyl and helpful, . Josy and Michael always greet you with a smile. Facility is always clean and well maintained. Have brought my family down numersous times

This is one of the nicest BWs at which we've ever stayed. The location is perfection. We didn't rent a car - We either walked to restaurants or hopped in an Uber for very short rides to Los Olas Blvd. The Hotel is literally steps from Ft Lauderdale Beach, too. We loved the balcony and sat out there after returning from a night out. We just watched the quiet street with taxis now and then or people coming and going from their condo across the street. The room itself is a little dated. The bathroom could certainly use an update. It's difficult (for me) to use the mirror because the counter from the wall outward was so long. It makes it painful to lean over. So a little more counter space left to right would be desirable with a makeover - or how about attaching makeup mirrors to the wall which swing out. The first day it took time for housekeeping to attend to our room and make the beds; leave clean towels and accoutrements. We were staying for 8 days and didn't feel it should be necessary for us to ask for housekeeping. It should be a standard service. The breakfasts were amazing. Something different every day. All food freshly made; all cut up fruit fresh and sweet. The hostesses in the eating area were so kind, pleasant and helpful every day. The pool area is large with ample room for all guests and more sitting area one level up. We will definitely return to this location next winter!! It may not be luxurious, but its definitely got 4 stars from me!
