My wife was in Cleveland Hospital due to illness. I had been by her side for 13 hours, feeling exhausted and dreading the idea of cooking once I returned home. As I exited the hospital, I encountered a Filipino food truck and decided to grab a meal from there. Opting for barbeque chicken skewers and pancit noodles, I received my order in under 10 minutes. Due to my fatigue, I chose to eat in my car. The initial taste was delightful, and the chicken was tender. However, upon reaching the last skewer, I noticed its unusual softness. Turning on the overhead light, I discovered that the chicken was, in fact, raw. I promptly returned to the food truck, not seeking compensation, but rather to inform the cook about the issue. Regrettably, the cook brushed off my concern, which troubled me greatly. Given that my wife was scheduled for a procedure at the hospital the following day, I couldn't risk falling ill from food poisoning. I share this experience to caution others, emphasizing the importance of inspecting their food.
