Vegetarian options: I thought we were dining in Sicily!. Authentic Italian cuisine, home made pasta with a variety of superb sauce options,. The lobster ravioli were devine, ditto for the spaghetti in clam sauce and spaghetti puttanesca. Buonissimo ! And you take that from someone whose Italian parents were the best cooks on the planet!

How this is rated 4.8 stars is beyond me. The place looks very run down from the outside which was worrisome. Staff was nice. The food was not good. I had shrimp with red sauce. The sauce was watery with very little taste. My mother had pesto over spaghetti which was not good. My husband had bolognas which was ok. Dessert was good. I would rate this 3 stars and not go back. It was also expensive.

I moved to pompano recently but I’m from NY and Sicilian so I’m VERY picky about Italian food. So far this place has been great! The food is wonderful, the owner is very nice and attentive. It a small place so I would def recommend making a reservation.

Don't go ....I went in there tonight just to look at the layout was going to make a reservation and the host was rude, condescending, I won't ever go back there. You can be busy, but there is no need to be rude to people who are looking and investigating your location. Bye bye

I had high expectations because it has 4.8 stars (as of now) which is amazing in my Yelp scale. I try to go to places with 4.6 and above ratings. Last time we went to a 4.8 rated place (Larb Thai-Isan), we were amazed how delicious everything was and since then we went (30 miles each way) to Larb four more times. Now, Etna Rosso. Was it good? Yes it was good but nothing special. I mean I am pretty sure it's not Olive Garden (never been) but do I think this place deserves 4.8 rating? I don't think so. The service is decent but I really don't care about the service. Atmosphere is nice but that isn't important for me either. I value only food and I wasn't that impressed. Yes, I have eaten in Italy so I am not someone who makes this judgement with no Italian food experience. This place is MAX 4-star for me and I wish I could do 3.5 stars but can't technically so I will have to give 3 stars. If I am in the area and crave Italian food, I will go but otherwise, I am not making the extra mile to eat here.

Luca (owner), and Manuel (our waiter), they made us feel more than welcome. It was like we were in their home. Superb Sicilian food and great wine selection. We had gnocchi, branzino, and pasta marinara with their house wine, The Etna Rosso. And for dessert the cannolo. You have new fans, can't wait to go back!
