We had the best bartender. He had a smooth delivery to the secret menu scavanger hunt, and mixed delightful drinks. He said he used to work at another speak easy before and it SHOWS. We seak out speak easy experiences and having the mini escape room experience to fine the hidden menu was worth it. Thank you so much for the experience. Ps. To bartender. Hope you get the house in the mountains next to the river/stream.

This is an update responding to the owner's response to our review, clearly one can see the hostility in his response. Check this place out if you want to be humiliated in front of your friends and loved ones.I don't know if it's under new management or ownership, the way my friends and I were treated the other night on st Patrick's weekend is un heard of in the restaurant and bar business. We are a group of professionals having a positively great time when Suddenly out of nowhere the so called person in charge asked us to leave because we were having a great time laughing at each other's conversations. If it wasn't for the fact that we were asked to leave after only two rounds of drinks for being too loud at a so-called Speakeasy bar, this is a zero star review which would have been a five-star review since we were having a great time up until that moment.

This is my first time at The Green Hat. I had the mistress, the smuggler, and the siren and a little bit of the gold rush. All the drinks were excellent. My bartender was Phil. The service was awesome. I would highly recommend this for unique interesting drinks that you can’t get anywhere else.

If you are considering this bar to go with friends. DO NOT GO there. They will NOT serve you. These people are confusing “Speak easy bar” with “No noise bar this is a library “. Modern “Speak easy” is recreating the atmosphere of the 30’s with a modern touch. Beginning with selling alcohol without the fear of being caught because it’s legal now. And being able to talk, tell a joke and laugh with friends having a good time because that’s why you go to a bar. Seriously?? If you want the atmosphere to be like a library why do you play music?? The manager is rude and is killing what potentially could be a nice place. Run away from this joint. There are plenty of nicer Speak Easy bars in Broward County.

Six of us went on March 15, 2024 at approximately 9:30 in the evening. After having two drinks, we were cut off and asked to leave because we were laughing too loud. I will never step foot in this establishment again, they will never get another dollar of my money. They should be embarrassed for treating paying customers the way they did.We will be spending our money at the Eatapa’s speakeasy from now on!

If I could leave a 0 star I definitely would!! We came tonight with friends who were more than willing to spend money for good drinks and atmosphere. The music was horrible…I mean really, who plays hip hop music at a speak easy???Do they even know the history behind a speak easy??? The manager was so unprofessional and extremely RUDE!! DO NOT GO HERE!!

Fish bowls, bath tubs, hidden menus, scavenger hunts! What else would you want for a night with friends?! This speakeasy not only is really cool since it's hidden in an escape room but the service and intimate vibe is what I love best! The drinks are consistent and I've been there 3-4 times always bringing new friends or colleagues! My favorites are the LEVIATHAN, GOLD RUSH, and REVIVER.

Amongst all the madness, this speakeasy is so tucked away, you might forget where you are or that your kids are on the other side of the door...literally. Drinkks are 9/10 try the lychee Martini with the special rim twist and the pecan old fanashed with the banana treat on top. The spot is comfy, it's cozy, lighting is perfect and there's secret challenges to keep things interesting all night long. A def visit with your sweetheart or friends...very cool.

What a fun little find! My husband and I were looking for a place to have a ambient evening full of good cocktails and good music. We tried another place first and it was crowded with tourists so we went on the hunt. I came across Green Hat while searching speakeasys and lounges. I put the address into the GPS and was surprised at where it landed me, I went on the website to get location info and code. Once we located the rust coated door we were radioed in as being allowed to enter code. The code did not work and unfortunately there was an error but we were let in finally by the server/bar-back. Upon entering we were greeted by this cozy sultry atmosphere and took a seat at the bar. We looked over the current cocktail offerings and each chose a beverage to our liking. The mixologist(and I say that with a straight face) was an artist of his craft. Not only was his attention to detail remarkable but the level of care put into each cocktail was a scene to behold. We each had 2 cocktails and both were delicious. They were a bit pricey at $18.00 a cocktail but you are also paying for the ambiance and the exclusive little setting. Overall a fun find and something I would do again with a friend or two.

The first time I came here I enjoyed the drink came fast and over all enjoyed them but this time around not so much. The drink took too long to come out and there’s barely anyone inside. The seats are terrible too ,whom ever thought it was a good idea to have a piece of wood stick out of the wall didn’t think how uncomfortable it would be to seat. Also when I think of speakeasy’s I think of calm and relaxed… not music blasting from the speakers that doesn’t fit the ambience
