Tobu is a solid 3 star experience in Galleria Mall food court. Food, service and ambience are all middle of the road 3 stars. 3 star food: Bourbon chicken with rice and veggies was serviceable. I guess in a shopping mall food court waiting for your Apple Store appt, it's definitely ok 3 star service: service was brusque and not particularly friendly. Again, it's roughly what you expect in a food court. 3 star ambiance: ambiance has improved somewhat after recent renovations. The food court itself is mostly vacant.

This is an okay food court restaurant. I got the double bourbon chicken with noodles for dinner and took it to my hotel room for later. When I ate it about an hour later it was cold, which I expected, but it didn’t have much flavor. Some of the chicken had burnt ends, and the bourbon sauce didn’t taste that good. The noodles didn’t have any flavor earthed. When I was at the mall someone in my group had food from here and said it was really good, so I don’t know if I got something that didn’t taste good or if it just didn’t taste good because it was cold. It didn’t taste bad, but it didn’t have any flavor, which is why I gave it three stars. If it tasted like this when I got it instead of when I ate it cold I would’ve given it one or two stars, but eating it cold was my own fault, and I don’t know if it’s bland taste was because of that or if that’s how it came from the restaurant.

For a cheap casual 2 item Chinese food combo with either noodles, fried rice, or half and half, come here. The service is generic and the price is cheap, around 11-12 bucks for alot of food. It is quantity over quality and there is nothing special about it. The service is fast and prompt when no one is there. Yea that's about it. Go if you want to eat a lot, with acceptably tasting food, for a decent cheap price.

Pretty good Asian fast food. With Panda Express, our stomachs will hurt or it’s just not good at all, but this location is not bad at all. We go about once or twice a month as a splurge. I have friends who work in the area and will eat there once a week for a quick bite. The spicy chicken is definitely spicy. My husband loves the bourbon chicken. Just came back from the FT Boat show kind of hungry so i decided to have lunch at Tobu. Was cordially greeted by the owner himself. He was so proud of his place smiling all the time. I tried LoMein , bourbon chicken & spicy chicken as well. And I’m glad that I did It was Delicious. I’ll return when in the area definitely. Overall the kind service is what got me the most,a rare thing on this days.
