Looking for the perfect Angus Burger ever? Edelweiss Burger is the place. If you are anywhere near Fort Myers Beach you must stop in and savor the delectable flavor of the perfect burger. Best of all you can customize it to your specifications. It's amazing. Their sides are awesome as well. Especially their crispy, yummy homemade potato chips.

We came in with my brother and asked for a table for two. We both had to use the bathroom and while my brother was waiting for me he poured a cup of water from the soda machine that was placed in the aisle on the way to the bathroom. Cups were stacked right next to that and it wasn't obvious that it wasn't for self-service. When I came out from the bathroom the owner and the waitress confronted him and said that this is not self-service and that the water isn't free. We apologized and said we didn't know, but instead of accepting and letting it go, the owner asked us to leave the restaurant and pay 50ct for the water. We didn't argue and left. The waitress was very uncomfortable in this situation and apologized for having to charge the water. I could tell by the way she looked that this is not the first time she's experiencing this with her boss. It is hard to understand how some can get so upset about a cup of water. We came in peace and in a great mood and we spoke German to the waitress (both, she and the owner are from Austria). The owner said that in six years no one has taken water from this machine and that he can't believe we did this. Not sure what his problem is and why he seems to be such an angry human, but I can understand why his restaurant had zero guests while everyone else was full on a busy beach day. No idea how the burgers are because we never had a chance to try them. Advice to the owner: Be a little bit more kind and don't ruin the great reputation about Austrians in America that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Christoph Waltz have built so hard.

Found on trip advisor, not normally a burger fan but I had a mountain burger and husband had BBQ Burger. Nice people good value great quality.

We absolutely LOVE Edelweiss Burgers!!! Had to go twice during our recent stay on Ft Myers Beach. The owners are so nice and the staff too. Found this 2 yrs ago and always look forward to going there!

Great Service and staff suggestions. We had four different burgers and they were all wonderful and full of flavor. I would definitely recommend this as a great spot to stop.

We found this place on TripAdvisor as we were craving burgers that day. We were visiting from England and fancied American style burgers. Fantastic place with great burgers! Attentive service and close to Fort Myers beach. Great selection of burgers or can make your own. 5 stars!
