Agree with other posts that the fish of good but not served cold enough! No clue why not. Everything was fine but nothing was great. The projectors were all out for the cool wall ambiance as the waitress explained as a Covid sourcing problem!? Nothing great but not bad.

Nice sushi but when we ordered the 2 drinks for $7 on the happy hour special they charged me $12 for my pinot noir. Even though the happy hour menu lists a pino as a selection.I feel that they should have informed me that my wine wasn't included in the happy hour offering. Not a real big thing but most likely we will not return.

We stopped for a quick after meeting lunch. Sushi is always incredible and today we met the owners & their group! They were wonderful & incredibly generous to take care of our lunch today! Thank you all! Keep up the great work! Blu is the only sushi I want in SWFL ?

The owner and vp were in here tonight and they were screaming, cursing, hitting the table, and had no regard for the customers here. The servers said this is normal for when they are here. though they were probably close to 60 years old they had 18 year old looking girls with them and their entourage was wearing matching clothes from some strip club. what was often a great place for a date night was terrible and the owners were the ones destroying the evening. The servers were apologetic and embarrassed.

This is my 2nd time visiting Blu Sushi, went for an early Valentine's date. It felt a little different after the hurricane, they probably did renovating. The service is slow, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Despite the wait, our waitress was very nice and helpful. The sushi doesn't disappoint though!!! Love the flavors!Parking: Since it is in downtown fort myers, parking is paid at the designated lots. There is free street parking but only for a couple hours and on certain times.

My friend and I try to have girls-lunch every month. Blu is one of our favorite places to go! We enjoy their lunch menu deals. This day we ordered the lunch option of 2 rolls and your choice of soup or salad. I got the seaweed salad and she got the regular salad. We both ordered the What's Your Baby roll, her second roll was spicy tuna and mine was my ultimate favorite The Mexican. We always ask for extra ginger and wasabi. We usually go to Blu mid-week during the day.....no crowds and easier parking. So this review is based on that type of timeframe vs an event filled weekend. Blu is always consistent! The quality of their sushi is always outstanding. The quality of their service is too. The restaurant (and restrooms) are always clean. The restaurant has a premium location in the heart of historic downtown Fort Myers. I appreciate the extra flourishes that come with each dish like the banana leafs and orchid flower (that flower is edible in case you're wondering). I would highly recommend Blu!

The first time I went in...the manager and servers stood by the bar talking only about how busy they were going to be. Sorry, it was just me, but if I go several times a month...don't I matter. I tried to make a joke of it, but they certainly failed to get the message. The food was good, so I went in today to give them a second chance. I sat at the end of the bar within 18" of the manager and two servers and within two feet of the bartender. I was never acknowledged by ANYONE and the bartender was busy punching in her tips to notice that she had another customer at the bar. There was NO reason why the manager shouldn't have been aware...even if to tell the bartender that I was sitting there. I sat for more than 5 minutes under the exact same conditions...got up walked out as if I had never darkened the door. Ichiban is a block away and serves better sushi for less money. They don't have a full service bar, but you can stop in at the Standard and have a great cocktail with very nice, responsive bartenders before and after you go.

Good Sushi but when you spend $39 for Sashmi charging 4% for a credit card is ridiculous. CC'S are the cost of doing business besides the average CC fee paid by a business is 1.65% so they are ripping you off! I just deduct it from my tip, the owners have no idea how to grow a business!

Went this New Year’s Eve -. All the waitresses made sure we were taken a care of. The only but major downfall was the liquor. It’s is “disrespectfully” watered down…you taste it and see it :/ I sent a drink back and saw another couple complain about it.

Had dinner and sat outside one night. The outdoor seating is nice and there are space heaters. The sushi was surprisingly better than I expected! Not the best sushi I've ever had but enjoyable. My favorites were the Mango Tango Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll. These were fresh, generous portions, and a fair price for what they give. I do not recommend the Volcano Roll-- the portion was half that of the other rolls despite costing more and the taste was unimpressive. I would also pass on the cocktails here and just get a nice glass of white wine to pair with the fish as I was unimpressed with the Wildfire Margarita and Lychee Tini.

Been here twice now. We sit at the counter/bar and watch the chef put the rolls together. Makes for a great experience. Food is phenomenal.
