I'm always impressed by the cleanliness; the tables are spotless and the bathrooms well-kept. Laura is my go-to server every time I visit. She remembers my preferences and makes me feel like family. As a Cuban American who grew up in Miami, I often crave authentic Latin cuisine, which is hard to find around here. This place delivers genuine flavors—you can taste the care put into each dish, making it feel like home. The portions are generous, and when I request onions on my steak, they graciously serve a whole side of grilled onions, which are delicious. It's clear that the chef and owners are committed to maintaining a high standard and preserving their culinary vision. Thank you, Laura, for consistently making my visits delightful and welcoming. The place is very organized and the ornamentation is very striking. The portions are substantial and enough for two or three people. The waitresses are all very good people and helpful. They take their time explaining what each dish brings and serve the food quickly.El Gaucho is an excellent restaurant with amazing prices and delicious food. DO NOT go here. They over charged my credit card, the Meal was $52, left $10 tip. Should have been $62 and they charged me $114 ($52 + $62 tip). Are you kidding me! I disputed it with my credit card company, they said if it was a mistake they would refund it. When my cc company asked for the refund they refused! I would call that fraud! DO NOT GO!

The lomo saltado was deliciousThe leche de Tigre wasn’t the best but if love spicy, just add rococo sauce and will make it better.Service was great and drinks were good.They serve you fast :)
Food was good but was very disappointed in our server. We went here for our anniversary and were so excited to find a place with peruvian/Argentinian food as that's what I grew up with. Our food was wrong, server didn't come around to ask how things were so my husband could get a refill on his drink. Only time she came around was when she seen that another server was talking to us. She didn't even come around shortly after giving us our food to see if everything was okay. We were there a whole hour and only seen our waitress when getting our order, when she seen another waiter was talking to my husband about getting a refill and when this other waiter was giving us our box. Even getting our order taken was longer than it should be, another woman cane up and asked if we had been seen yet.

What a fantastic experience! We had the Tomahawk steak. It was unbelievably tender and delicious. I can't remember the last time I had a steak that good. The service was top notch - they really take good care of you without being hovered over. The Sangria was great! Try this place the next time you get a craving for beef. You won't be disappointed!

I’ve been living in SWFL for over 4 years and I’ve had recommendations to come here. Unfortunately the time I go the food was disgusting and one server was rude. The arroz chaufa tasted like they drained in oil. The ceviche had no juice in it all and the Peruvian corn was over cooked. When I ordered the jalea it was so over cooked I couldn’t eat it without a sauce . Then came to dessert which my kids were super excited to try . We ordered the alforjes and the cookies were not what it was suppose to be. Then while I’m eating a server comes to me and say “do you have anyone else with you?” And I said no I don’t. She then goes and says “ well can you move over so I can take this chair , I need it “. Our server was so nice and apologized in her behalf . He was so nice and tried so hard to fix things which I appreciated. I don’t ever mind spending money on food because that’s the right thing to do but it definitely wasn’t worth the 120 I spent . It’s so disappointing because I take so much pride in my Culture so it’s sad when this is what is representing us.
