Feels like a Gasthaus with friendly service and delicious food. After living 30 years in Germany, we love authentic food and we found it here. Jaeger Schnitzel and Spaetzle were excellent as were all our meals. Our friend will go back just for the pretzel. Loved the Black Forest cake as it wasn’t super sweet. All homemade and wonderful.

Jaeger schnitzel with spaetzle and red cabbage was my favorite, but all our meals were delicious and our friend will go back just for the pretzel appetizer. Black Forest cake was excellent and not too sweet. All 7 of us enjoyed the meals and the people. We look forward to a return dining experience, may have to try the sauerbraten next time.

Really enjoyed the food and decor. Authentic German food no doubt.Service was a little slow and we were ignored for some time. Waited about 20 min before placing our order. Table next to us was sat after us and had their food out before we even ordered.

First time visiting Heidi's new spot in Fort Myers and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. The service was great (although it wasn't Heidi). Definitely more accessible than FMB so we will be visiting frequently. Heidi and Axel always make/serve the best!

Nach 2 Wochen hat uns das deutsche Essen schon sehr gefehlt und wir haben uns darüber gefreut, Heidi’s German Restaurant gefunden zu haben. Sauerkraut, bayrischer Kartoffelsalat und die Nürnberger Würstchen war super lecker und der Service war mehr als herzlich und freundlich!

I have never had such a wonderful dining experience!! This family owned restaurant is superb! I felt so appreciated and like family! The food was excellent and tasted just like my mom's home cooked meal! I highly recommend this place if you miss your mom's cooking!!
Heidi's was one of our favorite restaurants in Ft Myers Beach & the new location, although far, is very cute. As always Heidi is there to greet you and serve up her authentic German food. We have traveled to Germany many times & the food is authentic . Start with the warm pretzel and delicious German Beers. German Potato salad, cabbage , spatzel & potato pancakes taste just like my grandmas. Everything is delicious, Jaegerweinerschitzel is my husbands favorite & I love Sauerbraten. Always fun , always delicious & get your beer in Das Boot if you can.

Second trip and was not disappointed again. The food was spectacular and cooked fresh so there is a wait. Enjoyed one of the great German beers on tap. The red cabbage was awesome as was the sauerkraut. Yep I had both and spatzle also. Food and service were great as always. This is a definite local favorite place so time it accordingly. There is a great outdoor seating area but I have not been able to eat out there. Great hometown feeling and very friendly.

What good food and service. It was our first time going there with friends, and we have to say the food was amazing. Everything we ate was delicious. I highly recommend this German restaurant. You will not be disappointed. Also our server Christine was very helpful explaining some of the items on the menu. A very kind patient lady. I also loved that this restaurant is spotless. I'm a pain in the neck! (Lol) I always look to see how restaurants cleanliness is. You know they are taking care of everything. I highly recommend this German restaurant. You will not be disappointed.

Very tasty German food and very friendly service. The restaurant is a bit hidden and we only discovered it by chance because we wanted to avoid a traffic jam. That was our luck ? otherwise we wouldn't have discovered this little gem.
