Great place to dine. Service was incredibly kind and pleasant. I have to say the food tasted superb and I would definitely come back just to have the flavors again. The price was a bit pricey, so that’s why I probably won’t come back too often, but it was definitely the taste of the food it was like the grandmother brought her Recipes over from Italy, and shared them with us. Definitely recommend coming here.

My wife and I went for our 30th Anniversary on a Tuesday evening out of season. It was not crowded. Very nice, relaxing atmosphere, with a live piano background. We had the Chicken Liver Pate and the Fried Calamari as appetizers. Lovely light breading on the Calamari. Pate was wonderful. For our main courses my wife had Chicken Marsala. The chicken was tender and she loved the sauce. I stayed with seafood, having a Calamari, Clam Linquini in a nice marinara. The portions were just right. We will be back and would definitely recommend the House of Pasta if you are in SW Florida and in the mood for some authentic, traditional Italian fare.

My fiancé and I dined here on a Saturday night , the food was above average but the service and atmosphere were below average . An hour after we left the deranged owner called my fiancés personal cell yelling and screaming that she would be calling the police to report my fiancé stealing a piece of a statue and smashing her statue …crazily! We were simultaneously dumbfounded , confused, and insulted ! The restaurant was amazing when Igor the former owner was there .The restaurant has gone down drastically in quality and service and to make matters worse it is now owned by an intoxicated angry lady who may need psychiatric help . After being falsely and abusively accused of a heinous act like that we will certainly never step foot in there again

Great service!! Amazing food. Every single thing that we ordered was delicious. Even the dessert and macchiatos/ coffee were all outstanding.Isadora was our server she’s awesome. The liver pate app is outstanding. We have it every time we go here. I wasn't real hungry this time, so after sharing the pate, I ordered the octopus salad. Another 5 stars! Had to save room for the almond cake, our go to dessert to share. ☆☆☆☆☆

We are from Wisconsin here due to Ian. My husband came the next week, now six months. I've been here three monthsIt's been brutal. We always looked forward to having a wonderful meal here when we could. Today, I ordered take out. It was amazing. From that order, we are able to share another tomorrow. Thank you!

We asked our neighbors about local Italian restaurants and this place was recommended by almost everyone. We ate on a Saturday evening (early) and were immediately seated. The server informed us that dishes cannot be modified. What a disappointment. After going through the smallish menu again, we made our selections. But our server vanished on us. It took about 15 minutes for her to return to our table. We kept waving at her but she ignored us. Finally, we got our orders in. When the food arrived, the portion sizes were tiny. Especially for the prices they were charging! My eggplant was probably some of the worst I have ever had at a restaurant. The other two people in my party also said their food was very lackluster. When it was time to leave, we kept waving down our server, but she ignored us. This went on for another 10-15 minutes. We almost left without paying. Finally, she came by and we paid our bill. We won't be back.

We shared everything, 4 diners, all excellent- my asparagus risotto was best. Oil and bread to die for. Wine, chocolate martinis and cappuccino and lemon cake, Casey was attentive and funny! Go, enjoy the piano player.

This was my favorite restaurant in Fort Myers, and I was so looking forward to our visit this year, but failed my previous experiences. The service was exceptional. Our reservations were at 5pm dinner was served at 6:15, dinner was delayed because the restaurant “ran out of propane” and an employee had to go get it!!! Bad planning by the kitchen staff. In my past experience the food was fresh and delicious this time food came out flavorless and Luke warm. The linguini alla prescatore clearly lacked passion with sub par frozen seafood. I hope the chef finds his passion by my next visit.
