Absolutely loved the vibe here at Markos Diner, the staff are fantastic, very friendly. The atmosphere is amazing and has that 60’s diner feel, all hail the Fonz! Haha, we are visiting from Canada and got the pleasure of finding this gem, was greeted at the table by the owner David. The staff are friendly. Such a great guy. We loved it so much we came back before going back to Canada! Thanks for the great food, and atmosphere here, all around happy great positive place to spend a meal together. Till we see you again Clay & Laura from Canada ??
Wonderful place for breakfast and lunch! Their southern omelette is by far the best ever! The owner always graciously makes it for us even when it’s not on special! Hands down recommend for a great breakfast/
Definitely a locals place. Got our menus and when the waitress came to take our order she said "oh...everything on the menu was raised a dollar". Not a big deal I guess but seems like a note should have been on the menu before I ordered. Then when we went to pay, after they had taken our credit card, we were told, "we charge 4% for credit cards." Again something I should have been told before the card was taken. Small message on the counter, of which I didn't see. Food was so so, nothing spectacular. Won't be going back.

We used to go to Matko's a lot before Ian. We have visitors coming down and planned to take them to Matko's, so we went back a couple of days ago hoping to have some of our old favorites . We were very disappointed! The western omelette didn't have any cheese that we could find and it was thinner than a pancake. The biskets in the biskets and gravy were very thin and small. The prices, we felt, were too high for what we got. Probably won't go back. Too bad we really have enjoyed it over the years.

Visited on our vacation-has a very local diner vibe and the staff are speedy but so nice and would chat with us and made us feel very welcomed. We enjoyed our grilled muffins, classic breakfast foods and would recommend the biscuits and gravy, skillets and pancakes. Would definitely return!

Don't write off small diners. Close to where we are staying ( we walked) and good food.We had breakfast. The skillet was delicious. Big portions, indoor outdoor seating. Friendly staff, quick service.
