The manager (or owner), Carol, is by far the most unpleasant, rudest, nosiest woman I have had the displeasure of meeting. I don’t know why she is in the service industry when she has the disposition of a cat with its tail on fire.Ordered there one time and that was the last time. The food is mediocre at best and was not worth the unpleasantness I endured for a second visit. I can’t imagine going through life being that miserable all the time.

Very disappointing experience. Ordered a couple clubs and macaroni salad sides. Incredibly expensive for what you get. Weak club sandwiches with very little ingredients. Hilariously small containers for sides. Like what other places put ketchup in. Seriously. I will never go to this place again. I hope your experience is better.

Carole's Metro Deli is the best little Breakfast and Lunch Cafe going on in Ft. Myers. All the specials are great. The soups are incredible. Carla and I go at least once a week.

Daily specials and quick fresh foods. A favorite for my lunches on the go for a busy work day. The owner will greet you and take care of you. Try the biscuits and gravy for breakfast!

A refreshing change from over priced breakfast. Can grab a quick toasted English muffin and coffee or egg sandwich. Tomato bisque soup was delicious! Can't wait to go back. Reminds me of NY luncheonette

No real ambiance unless you are into unique signage that they sell. We were the only 2 in the place and it took forever to get our food. Wife's omelet was very good and big. My French toast was quite ho hum, 2 pieces, no real flavor and soggy. Tried it and won't be going back

Quite delightful! We shared the steak and cheese with cole slaw and pop.The steak was tender and juicy, the cole slaw crisp and tasty.

I have one serious rule- do not serve burnt toast EVER! I can burn toast at home. I ordered a tuna melt. It was served on burnt bread, with practically raw bacon, maybe 3 tablespoons of tuna and there was no cheese! How was this even a tuna melt. Probably the worst thing I've ever been served. So disappointing. The clam chowder was good though. Just c'mon - if you can't make or don't know what a tuna melt is, don't have it on the menu! Sheesh.

Is a simple concept of a local business that do their things really good. I found this place by chance a few days ago, looking for a fresh lunch option. I was happy that it wasn't a food chain, the atmosphere is really quiet, and the attention is good, they explain the food to you.... What I liked the most was the tomato biscuit soup, and I accompanied it with a sandwich, which They may be better, but the truth is they are good, with ingredients that feel very fresh, and generous in size. the waiting time once the order is done is around 4-5 minutes for this order, which seemed fast to me, and even more so because it was lunch time. I have felt very comfortable.
