Atmosphere was too loud to hold a conversation at a table for 6. Queso was watery and tasteless, salsa has a sweet, maybe cinnamon kind of flavor? Guacamole was just ok, entrees had no flavor either. Server was VERY NICE but should not be in the service industry. Food took WAY too long for simply taco and quesadilla dinners. All in all, just ok... probably won't go back.

To start the evening off, the bartender Angelo (?) poured me one of the best margheritas I've had, in fact I had three. We were seated in Allissa's (Cindy Lou Who) section and received great service throughout the meal and she was extremely social and on the mark with taking our order. The manager/owner, Michael was also very outgoing and very full of pride about his new two-week old son, Michael Jr. Thanks for a great evening and experience. We will be back!

Ordered the chicken tortilla soup. Tasted like fish soup. Mojito was bland. Salsa tasted like a store bought not homemade. Waitress was sweet and attentive.

I've only been here twice I don't really remember how well there food is so it must have not left me an impacts. I do remember their frozen margaritas. They are great! The perfect frozen texture almost reminds me of East LA in Hoboken, NJ. They are famous for their frozen margaritas. If you are from Jersey you just know! Cantina 109 frozen margaritas will give you a buzz so be careful if you are driving. Overall great Margarita spot for a nice summer day!

The food was pretty good and our server Felicity was really attentive thoughtful and efficient. I just won't ever go back because I was dying of heat and I had to fan myself the whole night. When I stood up my pants were wet with sweat I would have stayed longer and drank a little more had I been comfortable.

Food was good. Waitress Felicity was outstanding and attentive and thoughtful but it was so hot inside that I left w sweaty, wet pants. We would have stayed longer and drank more if we were comfortable. Unfortunately we won't return as Mexican restaurants are aplenty in Fort Myers.

We tired the Cantina 109 Tequila bar snd restaurant last night. The place was terrific with great food. Everything was prepared fresh from scratch and huge portions. We meet the owner Dave and had a warm and friendly reception. We are going back with other friends.

This place was mediocre at best. I had vegetarian enchiladas which had no flavor and it was 18.00. Everything we had was flavorless. Even the table side guacamole wasn't good. Very disappointing. We won't be going back.

C109 is the best Mexican around . The tortilla Chips are made in-house then sprinkled with their own spices. The Salsa that comes with the tortilla chips has an incredible smoky flavor and the pork carnitas do as well. The staff are always friendly knowledgeable about the menu. I've tried at least seven other Mexican restaurants in the areas of Estero, Bonita and Naples and I found Cantina 109 to be the clear winner.

Awesome Mexican spot to go to with friends. I like the quesadillas and the shrimp tacos. Also recommend the skinny margarita if you prefer something more sour!

Food and service was outstanding. Diners had to speak loudly over the music coming from another establishment however eventually they turned down the music. The chips and salsa were very good, we got a queso which was just as good. My wife and I both had a taco salad with chirezoo along with onions and peppers which were extra but the amount of meat along with the peppers and onions was well worth it. This will be our new stop when we want Mexican. Highly recommend you give it a try.

Calling this food manure is a disservice to manure. The service was sub-par and rather inattentive, but the server may have been new; plus, he had to run defense for the food they served. For starters the salsa was way too salty, and the chips had some unneeded seasoning on them. They should've reserved the seasoning on the chips for the remainder of the meal. All 3 dishes had zero seasoning or flair. The chimichanga was dry meat with some bland jack cheese in a sort-of-a burrito. There was zero seasoning to the dish, the side of refried beans was flavorless, and the Mexican/Spanish rice was just rice with coloring. The adobo rojo sauce was omitted as well. This entree was comped as it was horrible. The Quesadilla was dry, with flavorless and unseasoned chicken with cheese and zero seasoning...nothing. The barely tablespoon of pico de gallo didn't have lime in it at all and was served over shredded iceberg lettuce...WOW! Lastly, the burrito mojado was a burrito stuffed with unseasoned chicken, black beans and rice with zero seasoning, and the same-colored rice without flavor. There was a drizzle of crema and barely a hint of salsa verde on top. The gratuitous tablespoon of lime-less pico was on the side. Dreadful and flavorless. As a bonus, none of the entrees were hot, and we had to wait for over an hour. Also, no silverware was given until after the food was served. I can say Cantina 109 was the worst dining experience in SWFL we've had to date.

Low on atmosphere and the service was abysmal! The server did not know what sparkling water was, and when we ordered Perrier by name as listed on the menu, they didn't have it. We tried to order carne asada but they didn't have that either. Ordered water but it was a 10 minute wait because they were washing glasses. Ordered a soda that was never delivered. The food was pretty good, but I would recommend taking it out if you really want it!

We were not impressed. We are huge Mexican cuisine fans and love spicy food. This place did not fit the bill.

Really a positive surprise. Great location when it comes to parking. Roomy restaurant and not too fancy to go out for dinner in jeans or shorts. Our server was wonderful and the Margaritas are delicious. But wait until the food comes!! It is absolutely delicious and well portioned. We had Fajitas , Burritos and Chimichangas. Every single dish was exceptional. The prices represent a great value! We will definitely go back for more.
