Ordered food, waited 2 hours, order canceled by restaurant with no explanation. Not sure what happened, but I can't say I'd recommend them after this.

The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. The service was outstanding. Our server Max was handling the whole restaurant and never missed a beat. We were a table of eight and the place was packed. A great dining experience."Eat out often and demand good food. You're paying for it"!

My husband and I had dinner here last night after reading the great reviews. However, our meal was very disappointing and subpar. I ordered salmon which came with risotto and thinly sliced carrots, and zucchini. The salmon was greasy on the outside and mushy on the inside. The vegetables were just as greasy and had no flavor at all. The clam chowder was runny and definitely not New England style. My husband's pasta with meatballs and tomato sauce was like paste. The best part of the meal was the bread and our waiter. The worst part was the greasy, tasteless food, and the expensive bill for a mediocre meal.

FOOD WAS GREAT Service was good but less formal then expected (wine bottle opened at bar, not at table). However this is not the only Fort Myers restaurant where I've seen things a bit off in the wine service. I've been to others where they open it at the table and don't taste or pour! Stop being lazy Ft. Myers!! The sauce on the filet was outstanding. If it was available in a bottle to take home, I would have bought it. I can still taste the flavors in my mouth. There was live music which is lovely. It was a bit too loud for us though as the place is small and we really wanted to "talk" at our table. Overall, we will be back!

The food was good, but the service was awful, an empty plate stood on the table for a long time, the waitress passed by many times and did not notice it. We made the order and waited about an hour, so the restaurants do not work, like that,it is too long. The waitress messed up order.

This was our 4th or 5th visit, so we like the Fish and Vine. It has a great menu that is diverse enough for all diners. Our family has vegetarians, non-seafood eaters and also some "I'll eat anything" members. The servers are very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. On this visit, and on one previous visit, they seem to be a little under staffed. There was one very large party, of around 10-12, that was being served by our server. He did a great job of balancing each party's needs, but he was stretched really thin. They really should have had a single server dedicated to the large group. It was almost comical to watch the party ask for separate checks, pass dollar bills between each other and use their flip phones as a tip calculator! On a very positive note, on Friday and Saturday evenings, the Fish and Vine has added some live light dining music provided by a pianist, accompanied by a guitar player. A great touch to their great food!

I food is overpriced for the quality. Ordered a alcohol beverage Manhattan on the rocks it came in a very small glass priced at $10.00 and was charged $1.50 for the rocks, ice cubes, never have I ever been charged for Ice cubes even in Europe. The owner said it was an extra pour for ice cubes. Save your money anf try a different restaurant

I absolutely LOVE Grouper and the chef at Fish & Vine knows exactly how to prepare it. One of her specialities is Grouper Picatta, which is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. But last night I had Grouper Bites and don't believe I've ever had more delicate, lite, yummy "bites" ... just the right size when you don't have a giant appetite. You can really tell when seafood is fresh, like this was. Already thinking I need to go back for a return visit very soon. Also, their Happy Hour features "small bites" with a wide array of goodies.

The food and service are always exceptional. The bar crowd is lively during happy hour, so if you want a more peaceful dining experience wait until after 6:30 to dine. Grouper Piccata and the Sea Bass are always excellent. Lamb chops cooked perfectly. Risotto, outstanding.

Left a full review on yelp. Really disappointing. Not busy party of 2 waited close to 40 minutes to get fish dinner. Party came in after us was served and finish before we got ours. Not a good night maybe 4 tables being served. No apologies

Terrible service. People came in after us and were served their food, finished their meal before ours even arrived. Our waitress never came back to our table to check on us. Ordered escargot which was served with a bacon cream sauce. Take a pass. We ordered mahi and salmon. The salmon was underdone. Left more than half. Ordered vegetables with the salmon the vegetables were swimming in oil. The mahi was decent. Ordered the house salad with raspberry vinaigrette. That was decent. Also ordered the wedge salad with blue cheese dressing. That was good. We had a reservation. At most there were 4 tables occupied with 2 waiters. We arrived at 7 got out of there at 8:40. I would take a pass go to prawnbrokers. This was a birthday dinner what a disappointment.

We had another great experience at the Fish and Vine. The service/server was fantastic. Most of our meals were equally impressive. The sea bass. Tuna and salmon were very tasty. The ciapino was just okay. It lacked some seasoning to make the dish really pop. Great salads and bread! It's one of our go to spots! You wouldn't expect such good food from a place in a strip mall, but it's worth a try! I highly recommend it!
