Called around 10 in the morning the woman on the phone said give us a little bit of time we have a bunch of doordash orders that just came in. I said okay how long do you think until my order is ready? She said 30 minutes. I arrived at 10:35, walked to the counter. She asked what I would like. I said I called around 10 for a Bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel. She walked in the back to tell me there's no plain bagels left. I said okay I'll take the onion bagel. It took an additional 25 minutes for them to make my order. I took my order to go got home and opened up my sandwich. The egg was burnt and I asked for pepper jack cheese and they gave me american. Probably will never go back

I’ve been here twice. Both times I ordered different bagels. Both bagels are heavy, don’t have the taste or texture of a great bagel like Brooklyn Water Bagels. On a scale of 1-10, I would say 2. Even Dunkin has better bagels across street. Good selection but poor executionResponse from owner shows inability to accept constructive criticism and feels that since they are a local business taste is secondary to supporting a local shop no matter the quality of their products.Well, that’s absurd. Simply put, the bagels suck here. They’re like a rock. Decide for yourself.I personally don’t care since I won’t return.Eat a bagel here and then go to the Brooklyn Water Bagel shop and try one of theirs.

Went for bagels with my parents and we strongly disliked it, our bagels tasted stale. The bagels were small, and hard as a rock. But the worst part was the coffee. We ordered just a small black coffee, when you think of black coffee you think of a fresh pipping hot cup. This was absolutely not the case. The coffee was COLD and from the day before. My father literally spit it out on the concrete. So upsetting, we had to get a better one at 7/11.

Kari Berry runs this bakery to an extent. The food is order-able, and the coffee is there. I had an experience here. Bagels are made in the back somehow, can’t really tell. Takes time to get food once ordered, as the case with other stores. There were other people there, take that for what you will. My bagel had a taste too, take that for what you will. The store was prepared and decorated for every occasion you could think of, how festive! Kari really does her thing, take that for what you will. Okay, now I am speaking directly to Kari: no one calls owners before leaving bad reviews, it’s 2022. Blessings, can I have my free bagel now?

Went to Kerri’s Berries today just to check it out for me. A man and woman walked in just minutes ahead. They were promptly met by Kerri. Upon receiving their order the gentleman asked for additional cream cheese. Without hesitation, Kerri brought out an additional crème cheese. The extra crème cheese serving was huge far more than anyone would have expected. They Both seemed completely satisfied.I placed my order to go and asked for a Brownie, two were left all other Brownies had all day been sold, it was about 10:30 am. The brownie was excellent. I also asked about a peanut butter cookie. Karri explained she kept the dough frozen and it would be a couple of minutes. I promptly received the cookie, it was warm, wrapped in white paper, and then in foil. The cookie cookie asked GREAT.Gloves were worn at all times. Being a Health Care Executive and professionally trained in infection control I understand glove usage. Some people think gloves should be worn at all times. This is not true, it’s ok not to wear gloves, just wash your hands. If you don’t change your gloves they are considered dirty.Kerri’s place was clean, decorated and comfortable. She is working hard to be successful. We are fortunate to have her in Lakewood Park.Thank you Kerri ?

My husband and I finally tried this place out. Everything we got was really good. My daughter's loved their smoothie and I can't wait to get some more soup. The owner was super nice and one of the employees remembered my husband after just briefly speaking to him at a convenience store nearby. We'll see you all soon!

I am mixed when it comes to this review as I love supporting local mom and pop business. I think some constructive critism is needed rather than the bashings I have read as there is a potential for this quaint restaurant to be an amazing breakfast spot. This is the cutest place...well decorated and inviting and the employee in the kitchen, along with the owner were both very friendly. We were not greeted when we arrived and it took a few minutes for them to know we were there. Maybe a bell on the door would help? We ordered two bagel sandwiches to eat there, a chicken salad on a croissant, a slice of carrot cake to go along with an iced coffee. The wait was a bit longer than anticipated which can be difficult for those on a schedule. Maybe a little process improvement for kitchen staff, or lack thereof, is warranted. As for the food... presentation was good, not messy. The bagels were too hard and chewy for our liking but the had a nice flavor on the interior. The eggs were a bit watery (are they are powdered??)...to which I prefer real eggs, even when I go to McDonalds, I request real eggs... the bacon was a bit overdone, but again, it could simply be the kitchen process is not set well or maybe the cook is new. I was unable to eat the bagel as a sandwich due to the hardness because when I bit into it, the hardness pushed everything out, so I took everything off and ate it separately while there, then boxed up the other half for later. Later, I wrapped the bagel in a wet paper towel and microwaved it for 10 seconds to soften it up. I threw away the egg and bacon just eating the bagel...that is when I could tell the flavor by itself was good. The chicken salad croissant was FANTASTIC! Great flavor, perfect mix of ingredients, and perfect consistency. Even the next day! By far, my favorite item. The carrot cake we took home, but was dry so it was thrown away after one bite. The iced coffee was good.My review is 3 stars because of the wait and quality of the bagels, along with the fact of being a new small business owner. While there, the owner spoke to us and asked if everything was good and our response was "yes" with my intent to speak to the owner before leaving, but another patron entered and I did not want to interrupt his order. Plus I wanted to try the chicken salad and carrot cake before determining the total quality of our visit.Even though my review is 3 stars, I will return, if nothing else, to order the chicken salad! Being a business owner and business coach for many years, I know how hard owning a business is, keeping help, and keeping your head above water. I am rooting for you to turn things in your favor.... I see the potential. If you have not heard this, thank you for opening your restaurant during a pandemic, and working hard to please your customers. I am confident you will succeed if you take the suggestions and improve on your current processes. ?

I wanted to like this place because it is local and the owner runs the shop. I walked in and no one was wearing a mask which screams to me they don't care about their customers. I walked right out. To bad so sad.

Rare that I would go out of my way to totally berate a restaurant especially in light of covid, but then again, I was the customer. Saturday mid-morning first visit to establishment. Greated by a very pleasant woman who promptly took my order. Surroundings were quaint and even cheerful. There was a woman and daughter awaiting their order upon my arrival but kitchen appeared to be working exclusively on their order with none other. An everything bagel with sausage, egg and cheddar cheese to go was ordered. After a ten minute wait, when it became clear that the oblivous kitchen help had yet to start the order I inquired. The woman apologized and offered to remove a dollar from my total order. It appeared she then stepped in to process the order from the boy who didnt appear to have a clue. Lofty weight to my order and excited but upon returning home the vast disappointed set in when unwrapping my breakfast sandwich. Just bad. A greasy mess where the grease from the sausage seeped into the bagel. The bagel was a soggy chewey bland(other than grease)mess. By far the worst bagel I have ever eaten and a real joke to any bagel purest. Any gas station would have been preferred. I did not even feed this to my dog because it was an abomination of food. It truly was a violation of sensibility for this estatblishment to even call this a bagel. It definitely was not a good start to an otherwise beautiful weekend. The male employee needs to be fired for his indifference, laziness, incompetene. Probably the owners kid.

Wonderful place! I love the atmosphere, the staff are so nice, and the food is great! The smoothies taste amazing, the pastries are made from scratch and it all smells amazing! Better than homemade breakfast by your grandmother! Definitely recommend anytime!

Horrible, just Horrible! We waited over a half hour for 3 bagels with egg and pork roll and bacon. The one egg was burnt. The bagels were all hard and rubbery. Probably due to the fact that they put them in a microwave to melt the cheese. All of our sandwiches were soggy and inedible. Im pretty sure the lady there was the owner and for her to allow burnt eggs to leave the kitchen is a disgrace. I completely understand we are living in a different world right now where businesses are struggling but if you cannot produce a decent product you need to revisit your business model. They did apologize for the long wait which was nice but I would have rather had a decent bagel sandwich. I WOULD NOT recommend this place at all. Save your money and time! Sorry Kari but you need to do better, much better!!!
