Was a great restaurant, unfortunately it is being turned into a Mexican food place. Will be missed

Quality of food is downhill, always had good food but this trip was not good. Bland food with barely any meat in entre.

Their menu is large. I usually order take out Thai food. This time I ordered the Two Roll Box Sushi. The California and Shrimp rolls. It came with a side salad with Japanese ginger dressing.Fairly priced.

The owner is truly amazing. Great priced food and the Tai beer is good also. This is our new once a week restaurant.

WOW! Stopped in here after hanging out at the gin mill next door. Ordered a bunch of rolls. The chef did not disappoint. Man they were thick and tasty. Lots of flavor. Added a side of spicy Mayo to jab it up a bit. He took pride in his work because he told me when he was making it to make sure it was legit and up to my standards, and it sure was I will definitely be returning to this place to order more takeout and hopefully even dining one day the staff was very friendly and the prices were very affordable. Thank you very much for making us dinner one to remember.

Great Thai place to try if traveling down Hwy 1. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Service was excellent but probably because we were the only customers. Atmosphere was pleasant. Didn't give full marks for Atmosphere due to table quality. Dinner Box 2 and Tom Yam were excellent. The Miso soup with the Dinner Box was wonderful.

Excellent food, lousy service. Long waits for food even when place is empty. Food is worth the wait!

Awesome service, delicious hot and fresh food. Lots of Thai and Japanese options. I usually order sushi, Tom kha, pad see eiw, or drunken noodles. So delicious and worth it!!

Oh well, it’s very close to our house and I wish they had a better cook, so I could have a wonderful dinner a step away. Pluses - very nice stuff, wonderful decorations and beautiful atmosphere. That’s why I’m giving 2 stars.Food is terrible. I ordered a seafood soup, anticipating shrimps, squid, fish balls and fried wanton. Got 5 shrimps and a few squids with lots of pasta and raw vegetables in clear water. No hints of other ingredients. $14? For that? Seriously? The spring rolls were good, but it doesn’t worth that time and money we spent there. We left $100 for 2. I had better for this amount of money in my life.Never again.

Guaranteed they will mess up your order but it still always tastes good so I guess

I eat here regularly and although many people say many things, I know personally that there is a learning curve for new employees. The core crew is really impressive. I've watched them create artistic images with the seafood using sharp knives with precision while slicing thru free-hand. I was personally amazed...and definitely qualifies as a top chef in my book. I've watched them go thru hard times yes...but when the right people are there...I assure you they are clean. I watch everything...and also very friendly and funny even. See you next time round...

Our first visit here was about 5 months ago. The food was delicious and we had hoped to make it our neighborhood “ go to “ place. HOWEVER….. over the next few visits we have noticed issues that we just cannot overlook.I understand about staffing issues and have tried to overlook that issue. Whoever they hire really do try, but I’m not sure they understand the basics. For example…. The menu is complicated and not organized very well. On each visit we have ordered from the dinner special. Each time, our server was not sure/aware/clear on what was included in these meals. Even insisting that an egg roll was Not included even though my husband pointed out on the menu what was included.Next issue is the addition of a service tax being added to your bill. This means the business pays money to the credit card company, and then charges you a larger than that amount on your bill. So you are paying more for a service that is already included for you to use your credit card. This is money you are just throwing away? The last issue was when we saw one of the original servers now being at the sushi bar making sushi ( not the owner) … while making the sushi, he answered the phone,( which is used by all of the staff) then went to the front desk and handled something there and then went back to continue making the sushi. It is absolutely forbidden to touch anything when making sushi unless you wash your hands. This is a very dirty practice especially when handling raw fish. If this most basic practice is not important and they are double charging you to use a credit card….. they have lost my business. Under these circumstances, the food is not up to health standards and I would be very careful should you choose to eat here.I try to give my business to locals, but this place is off my list. Be careful if you choose to eat here.
