I visit this great spot quite a bit! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I go to this spot at least once a month. The food is fantastic, the workers are professional and the cost is fair. I like going in this restaurant to have a decent lunch.

Horrible. Workers were standing around, people were waiting to be served. It took over an hour to get our food. We almost walked out. Our waitress was not apologetic even tho it wasn't her fault. I sure wouldn't have wanted to be a waitress there. We ordered hamburgers for heaven sake! Who can't flip hamburgers? They seriously need help.

They don't even deserve 1 star. Sat in the drive thru for over 30 minutes with just a couple of other cars. Ordered the $4 meal all the way. Finally get up to the window to be charge $6 and some change, got my food and headed home. Only to discover my burger looked like something from a kids meal with nothing but meat and cheese. No cookie was in the bag and got the wrong side. Called management who answer the phone out the phone down and never returned. Call corporate who promised me a call back from management and I've been waiting 2 weeks and still nothing. When I get better service and good from McDonald's you know that's a sad place to eat. The highlight of my visit was the love bugs mating on my car.

Says 24 hours. Pulled up to drive through a few minutes ago to see "closed at 1030pm" scribbled on a sheet of paper and taped to the speaker. Someone then came on the mic and said "WE'RE CLOSED"

I love steak and shake but this was the first one I've ever been to. First you couldn't order a shake, so from now on this location will be known as steak only. Then the waitress, who was very sweet and nice, was obviously never trained. Didn't know how to greet a table, didn't get drinks to the table till after the food came, did not perform a quality check, etc. The place want even busy maybe a total of 4 tables in the whole place. I also stood at the counter waiting to pay for roughly 10 minutes while employees looked at me and just went about their business. I'll never go to this location again.

Awful service. Came in with two small children hands full, an employee was going inside and as opposed to helping me with the door they just let it close. We stood there for 5 minutes and were completely ignored and not sat. Nasty, ghetto attitudes

Waitstaff (at least our waitress) was very inept. Our food, for a table of 5, was delivered one seat at a time, with several trips for some. Person number 1 was finished before person 5 even got served. Food was cold when delivered. Some never even made it to the table! Register had no change for a cash customer and the other was locked. Delayed our trip at least 30 minutes. Won't make that mistake again!
I can not express how deeply grateful I am to Steak and Shake. Mostly for what they do in employing the disabled or handicapped let alone putting them in positions of management and paying them well enough to drive a Cadillac.

Terrible . Just Terrible . This place is literally AIDS . I walk in with 3 of my buddys and when you walk in , the sign clearly says " WAIT TO BE SEATED ". We waited there for like 20 minutes until one of my buddys went up to the counter and asked if someone was going to seat us . The c*** says . " Just sit wherever you want " . So we sit a anywhere . I thought we were invisible for a second . We sit for 10 minutes more until someone finally notices that we are sitting there , comes up to us and says " YOU GUYS DIDNT GRAB MENUS " . She literally looked like she snorted 3 lines of coke . anyways, Im pretty sure it is their job to do that. So we sit another 10 minutes. No one comes back , a couple of guys wak in and come up to the counter waiting to be served , they didnt get served either , while we are still sitting there waiting as well. We got up and left . Never going back . It smells like Raccoon in there with Eggs too . The staff seems miserable and doesnt want anything to do with the customers . Its like they want us to leave . Fire everyone .

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Walked in and wasn't even acknowledged. Finally asked cashier if they had service to go. Ordered for my family of four. Was told strawberry cheesecake was not available 15 minutes after ordering. Then overhead waitresses telling two other groups that they had "found some". Got one shake right away, then came food. Waited on remaining three shakes for 25 minutes. Had to specifically ask cashier if we were going to get the rest of our order. After she went to see about shakes, another employee, who appeared to be a manager, asked if we were waiting on something. Told her still waiting on shakes. She went back to check on them, and cashier came back up. The cashier said absolutely NOTHING to us, and wouldn't even look at us. Finally got our other three shakes and walked out. Total time was 45 minutes. Totally unacceptable. I have never had such horrible service.

This is Kelli writing the review, Todd's wife. If I could give negative 10 stars I would. We stopped on our way back to west palm from our Disney vacation at 9 pm to get my 10 year old son, husband, and my father hamburgers to eat as we finish our drive. By the way my dad is a retired undercover narcotics officer. My husband stood at the counter for over 35 minutes for the drinks and burgers. They admitted they forgot. I have no idea how. There were at least 8 employees and about one family eating. Meanwhile the action is on the parking lot. Cars lined up on the west side have obviously 2 prostitutes yelling and going from car to car. Their John appears now talking for at least 20 minutes with the main waitress. The skanky girls go around the steak and shake and come out the front with bags of food and drinks. So I assume the employees are in on this whole arrangement and let them come in a back door and send them out with food. Meanwhile I watch several men line up waiting for the girls, nauseating!!! My husband now tells me they forgot to make his food. I go on and yell " how many tricks do I have to watch those hookers turn before our food is done? She acted like she didn't know. I said ". You know exactly what I'm talking about. Then I went outside looked at an older man waiting his turn and yelled out loud that I'm calling the police. That was our experience!

I love Steak and Shake. I visit here once a year when I'm in Florida. A burger joint with a fifties vibe Its not as premium as say Shake Shack but its also a third the price and the meat is really tasty.. Love it and wish they would open restaurants up in the Northeast. Good food, good shakes, good value
