I've been by for cupcakes often and attended several events handle by the Cake Lady, about time I write a review!Stacy and her employees are an odd bunch working wonders with sugar and flour! The treats taste great and look even better. It's a miracle how they are able to create such large wonders and deliver them on time and looking perfect!If you want cheap or ok, go to Walmart.The atmosphere may not be as pristine as desired but if you spend any time there you'll realize you're not in a sales office, but the front kitchen. It's not styled for sales, it's cluttered for work and used to accomplish the edible creations pictured everywhere.I dare you to try and drive across the nearby train tracks with a wedding cake and not make a mess! You'll quickly discover the underrated skills they have.

We used the Cake Lady for our wedding and I'm so happy with how it turned out! We had a beach/coastal wedding. We provided our own seahorse cake toppers and she made a beautiful, beachy cake! We had cake tastings prior to the wedding and went with the vanilla with strawberry filling and buttercream frosting. It was so delicious! Everyone enjoyed the cake. Choose the Cake Lady!

Thank you to the Cake Lady for such a beautiful cake for our daughter’s wedding. She also did 2 sheet cakes as my SIL is allergic to dairy. All the cakes were delicious, cakes were delivered on time and she was great to work with.

Let me start by saying the FIRST cake she made was amazing. It was my daughters wedding cake. From there it's gone downhill. SECOND cake, I ordered on Feb 23, 2023. The cake was to match my daughter's wedding cake topper as they didn't get to keep the original. Stacy said she knew what I was talking about as the wedding was just 13 days earlier. I asked for the cake to be ready Feb 9, 2024 for my son-in-law to pick up the day before their anniversary. I was charged $75. All good.....until S-I-L couldn't pick up the cake on the 9th because it wasn't ready (he called). They weren't able to pick it up until the 10th, NOT as ordered and then they couldn't have it until they paid $65! The only thing that looked like their original cake was that it was round. When I called Stacy she replied that she was out of town. The cake that got picked up was white with red flowers and a red stick pin that said Happy Anniversary. NO resemblance to the original (see pictures) other than the cake topper that my S-I-L brought with. She finally said she would refund my S-I-L for the $65 but that their "website says $75 minimum". Wait a minute, your employee charged them $65......for a cake that was already paid for and wasn't ready when it was supposed to be done. THIRD cake we ordered was for my grandSON's 1st birthday. It was to be a full round cake (see pictures) decorated to look like a highland cow, for a BOY, could not contain dairy or wheat as he is allergic. The cupcakes were to look like cow pies with brown frosting. The cake came as a 1/2 cake (not round), the highland hair with PINK bows. This cake was to be for a boy! The cupcakes that were to look like brown cow pies were done in white frosting. The cake could not be finished for a boy as they did not have the required frosting and we had to wait for the white frosting to be scraped off the cupcakes and be re-applied in the brown coloring. When I called to complain Stacy said she was out of town when it was made and couldn't control what the on-hand decorator ended up doing. After my panic and complaining The cake lady Stacy finally ended up giving us a $40 gift certificate but only to her store. Should have been a refund to the credit card! The comment was their web site says "NO REFUNDS", issue was this was THEIR mistake in decorating, not our ordering, not to mention we had to wait for them to correct the mistake. Here are some quotes from the website "Promise to EXCEED your expectations" "HIGEST STANDARDS in quality, taste and DESIGN" "All our products are tailored to our client's WISHES and STYLE" The Cake Lady was a recommendation, but we will NOT order from there again!

My son calls this cake land, which is appropriate. They rock out with their decorative cakes, but also make a mean cupcake (the biscoff and mint chocolate chip are exceptional). This has an old school bakery vibe with crazy flavor and consistent service.

Charming little bakery with the best staff. I can’t say enough about the customer service. My toddler was so excited for a cupcake and he made her a special vanilla cupcake and she was so delighted. She’s still talking about the delicious cupcake!! A wonderful little place to stop in and grab a sweet treat or two.

I have taken a few weeks to be able to cool off and write this well deserved review in hopes of letting people know how business is conducted at this place and save a few souls from throwing their money away . My husband spent $500 dol on a cake that looked like a supermarket cake . I was present when he placed the order , phone was speaker phone . Stacy ( owner ) quoted a 3 tier cake, fondant with edible paper , silk orchids and topper . keep in mind , nothing signed , all spoken MISTAKE #1 ( what she said and what we received was totally different ) . We agreed the print out of the paper wasn’t going to be exact, the picture we sent was for reference only but to try to stay close to the print and keep the color palette. As a CAKE DESIGNER, we trusted her good judgment and taste MISTAKE #2 . We received a PLAIN butter cream cake , with only the bottom tier in fondant . No piping skills whatsoever , no decoration, no design , edible paper bubbled up , which was fixed by the lady attending the shop by pressing with her fingers . Cake was dry as if it has been baked and refrigerated days ahead of the pick up date . Stacy was UNPROFESSIONAL, got into a full on argument with me trying to excuse her lack of taste and mediocre job, telling me the tiny black topper was a courtesy !!! On a $500 dol cake ( she has toppers for sale on the shop for $7 dol and Walmart for $2) apparently a 500 dol cake didn’t deserve a topper to be included . Long story short , I went to Walmart and got a decent topper and edible pearls to try to fix the cake and hide the wood showing thru the frosting . Never again ! Overrated , dry cakes, with crisco tasting buttercream .PS. I paid fully for the cake ! Unfortunately didn’t have time to come up with a big enough cake for my event which was in a few hours I will Attach pictures of the sample cake we sent her and what we received . Not much was there when I went but a few cupcakes. The didn't taste fresh either and not worth the price being charged. Sorry but I was expecting a bakery which is probably my bad but from the reviews I thought it would be better.
