Wonderful food, delicious to tell the truth, the service was good, the atmosphere was not bad but I think they need a little vitality to the place, more colors and turning on the televisions, ah! The piña colada, highly recommended, I loved

Puerto Rican family visiting for Mets Spring Training. Our dinner here was Amazin! Mofongo was on point. Their pernil and skin, omg. So good. If you’re from the ny/nj area and you love PR food; try this place. Great service too!!!!!

Came here based on the reviews, and was not disappointed. The Mofongo was delicious, the service was great, and we enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the area; it is great, authentic food at a good price.

Great Puerto Rican restaurant. We were traveling in our RV through Florida and happened upon this place. The food was incredible. Not much to look at inside or out, but amazing Mofongo!!! I strongly recommend this place.

The Mofongo King is a a real deal Puerto Rican restaurant in the heart of PSL. I have eaten at many Puerto Rican Restaurants in Orlando and Puerto Rico so I can say the food here is good. I went in on a Sunday afternoon and was seated right away. Of course, I ordered a Medalla Light beer to start. It was super cold and I was offered a mug which I accepted. For entrees, we went with the Carne Frita (fried pork chunks with pickled red onions) with Mofongo and a salad. The second entree was Chicharron de Pollo (fried chicken chunks) with rice and beans, yucca fries and a salad. I highly recommend mayoketchup on the mofongo. Food was flavorful, the mofongo was not dry at all and service was prompt and friendly. Only complaint was that it was quite warm inside there, enough to be a bit uncomfortable. But I will come back for sure.

The menu is authentic. The employees at the counter were informative and helpful. You can order from the counter and be served at your table. When we asked what the difference was for the dishes visible at the counter and what was on the menu she explained that the kitchen prepares it hot and specially made. One of us in our party ordered from the menu and three of us ordered from the counter. When the 3 of us were done with our lunch, the kitchen still hadn't sent out the 4th meal. Our leftovers had been boxed and ready to go home when the 4th lunch arrived looking exactly like what we had from the counter. When we got the check we had been charged for 2 menu meals. The bill was corrected, we were surprised not so much as a soda taken off the bill. Decent food, but didn't feel the usual family vibe of Puerto Rico.

to start i am a puertorican so when i went tonight i expected real typical flavor of the island but sadly what i got was uncooked arroz con gandules that was flavored with zofran the churrasco was dry and with a burnt flavor the alcapurria was like a ball of grease and no stuffing. and don’t get me started on the octopus salad that it was more like oil soup with no flavor even thought i added lime juice to it. and the mofongo was more of a mangu all it needed was the red onions that was actually on top of the churrasco don’t ask me why the churrasco had the onion and finally the chimichurri was oil and chunks of onions and parsley. this place needs real puertorriqueño cooking and not what ever it is they have there. but one good thing i can say that i enjoyed was the server she was very professional and nice with us.

I loved this place! Super delicious food! Very friendly service! The only problem was that it took 1 hour to serve us the food, but this restaurant is worth trying! I recommend the Kankan Steak and the Trifongo!
