Since I don't live in the area, I've only had the pleasure of dining at Clemenza's at Uptown on two occasions (so far!).? Each visit was such a DELIGHTFUL TREAT!Upon entering the restaurant & being greeted, I felt GENUINELY welcomed in. I'd describe the atmosphere as EASY, CLASSIC, COMFORTABLE, ELEGANT. The service was OUTSTANDING! ...it's as if the servers are GLAD to be there & they KNOW they're about to give you an AMAZING dining experience! The food was EXQUISITE? both visits, IMPECCABLE! I'm sure I'll be visiting again when I'm back in the area & I'm definitely looking forward to it!Parking: The parking lot (located right outside the restaurant) provides plenty of parking possibilities.Wheelchair accessibility: Although I didn't notice any wheelchairs during our visits, the entrance does appear to be wheelchair accessible & there are tables that would easily & efficiently accommodate a wheelchair.
We celebrated our anniversary here on March 19th and I’ll tell you, this is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had out of everywhere. We were very fortunate to have Mr. O’Dayne helping us and we loved every minute of it. Not only did he know his job in every possible way, he had such a real personable manner about him. He was very attentive and quick on his feet. It was very nice speaking to him.The food was great! I typically do not eat much; however, I could not help myself!Thank you to the Manager, Mrs. Geiger for running this establishment and taking the time to speak with me. Hang on to Mr. O’Dayne!

There were two of us and we were both older women. I've been a server and I know what happened sometimes when mail waiters see women they don't wait on them and it was almost that way all he did was take our order and bring the check and he expected me to put half of a pizza in a small styrofoam box I tipped him because it was the right thing to do but he really didn't wait on us and that's unfortunate because sometimes I tip the bill which if you don't know is 100% gratuity

We used to go to Clamenzas weekly. It was my favorite restaurant and now that is has changed ownership I do not like it at all. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, and have come three times. I order the same thing every time. The vodka sauce is different and lacks flavor. The seafood linguine noodles were gummy. This time I ordered pizza for pick up and I paid $40 for a kids sized pizza and arancini. The manager never talks to us when we have asked to speak with them now twice.I really hope things change soon. The food in my opinion does not even taste like Mimmos. I hope the wonderful staff of Clamenza’s can stick it out and make some changes back to the original.

We’ve dined at Clemenza’s on several occasions. Last night, we arrived right when they opened and were seated promptly. However, the young lady who poured our water was unfriendly. We patiently waited for about 15 mins for a server to greet us and/or take our order, but despite much of the staff standing around, we were overlooked. After a while, we decided to leave. As we quietly walked toward the door, someone from the staff condescendingly shouted, “have a wonderful evening.” Unfortunately, this rude behavior from the staff seems to be a common issue, as noted in other reviews. We don’t plan to return.
