I will admit upfront, I am a bit of a BBQ snob. With that said, Parson's is just "OK" in my opinion. The BBQ and sides are nothing to write home about, but they will do in a pinch if you are really craving BBQ. The cobbler, however, was out of this world! If you like to drown your BBQ in sauce, this is the place for you. They have a pretty cool condiment bar with lots of sauce options, pickles, etc.

Mediocre at best..meat had little to no flavor(its bbq!!!where's the smoke flavor?) burnt ends looked and tasted like they were made in a crockpot, some of the ribs were fall off the bone, and some were tough as jerky, pulled pork was the best out of the 3 but still lacked flavor unless it was slathered in sauce,(which they do have an excellent variety of sauce) baked beans were good, coleslaw wasn't hitting on much, place was clean and the staff was very friendly could have been an off day. Might try it again especially since it has a 4.6 rating

Always delicious! You just can't go wrong with this gem! Out favorites are the tacos, pulled pork sandwich, green beans, and the cobbler ! You can't skip cobbler

I absolutely LOVE a good BBQ Pork sandwich! I'm of the opinion that if you have to add sauce, it's not good BBQ. The Parson's Son BBQ does not need a drop of sauce! It is absolutely wonderful without it. Their sides a fantastic as well. Do yourself a favor and go eat there!

I've had the 6-rib platter twice over the last few weeks. The ribs are REALLY good and I really like the green beans for a side as well. They have a great selection of bbq sauces. My wife had the tacos a few days ago when I had the ribs for the second time. She was pretty happy but not as happy as I was with the ribs.

Hands down my favorite place in town. Everything down to the sweet tea is a 10/10! The pulled pork paired with the southern belle bbq sauce is where it’s at and the Mac n cheese is the bees knees! ?

If you're in Ft Walton this is the BBQ joint to go to. Tried just about everything on the menu. They have 6 different options of in house sauce. Sides are great but the kicker for me was the chicken. Usually the chicken is dry at other places. Here it was on point. Wish I had a place like this at home.

Quick lunch service. Had the Chicken and side potatoe salad. Add your own sauce and pickels. Good tasting and portion

Amazing BBQ place! The sausage was very flavorful and the burnt ends were crispy yet soft. My favorite part was being able to add your own sauces at the sauce bar. My personal favorite sauces were the Georgia mustard for the sausage and the Tennessee honey with a little bit of Satans fiery mixed in for the burnt ends.

Absolutely delicious food. Amazing environment and very nice workers. Fresh squeezed lemonade is too die for! Recommend to everyone!
No beef of any kind. I almost left. Up charge to have ribs that taste boiled. Must use lots bbq sauce to eat. Half of the menu is just different styles of hot dogs, not even bbq. You only get one side with the meals, and they are small sides. Won’t eat here again. Bbq in the area hasn’t been good. Kinfolks will suffice until I get back to Texas
