This has turned out to be a great resort. Comfortable room, great view, nice food choices in plenty of different spots to avoid crowding, and not boring at all. From the poolside DJ to the friendly staff a great experience. The breakfast buffet was great as well.

Not sure how there’s a $29/day resort fee when in reality the property is a run-down motel. If bugs and hair in your bed is what you’re seeking, go ahead and book! Filthy place with bad costumer service. The only thing this place did right, was its marketing bc the pics look amazing! Trust that’s not what you will get.

We come to the resort every year from Texas for our summer vacation. Always a great time with family at the pool with DJ Jet! Great selection of music that’s family friendly. Kids loved the trivia questions.

Jackie R greeted us at the front desk and provided a thorough explanation of the resort layout and current events. The pool was chilly, but it felt refreshing given the high heat indexes. Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The 11 AM check out time was convenient, and the breakfast buffet was great! The close beach access was a huge plus, and affordable beach chair rentals on the beach was a nice perk. The only downside was the lack of drink machines on every floor of the hotel building, or at least on the bottom floor. When I asked the front desk if they deliver bottled water and charge it to the room, they said they don't provide that service. I would like to suggest offering this service, especially for guests who have to walk alone in the dark to the front main building at 1:00 in the morning.

Jayden has kept the crowd jumping with the best music down at the grotto today! Beautiful weather! Nice beach clear water and lots of fun! We don’t want to go home. The Island is where it’s at in Fort Walton beach!

With an unforseen incident with our reservation ( from 3rd party booking) A hard lesson to learn never do again! The front desk manager on duty was so very helpful. When we returned Jamie & Carmmalin ckd us in a very welcoming way we totally put the 'delay' we experienced to rest and had the best time ever!! Dinner staff was very tentative! Laura at the bar was a blessing while we used her bar as an office to sort out our ck in delay.
First off im not one to complain unless I feel there is absolutely a reason to. My wife and I stayed with our 3 younger kids. Its definitely not a kid friendly environment. The room smelled moldy because the shower leaked all over the bathroom. We found roaches right outside our room the last day. The pool is available to the public to pay and swim and we (people staying in the hotel) got kicked out because it was full. We had breakfast at the fish house and my coffee cup had lipstick all over it. There was a car show in town and the hotel let them park anywhere. They were parking in all the no parking zones including the roadways through the hotel parking lot and front check in area and were partying all night long outside our room. Which I don't care if your having fun but a little respect would be nice. Like making them party out in the parking lot would be nice. When I talked to the hotel about any of the problems all I got was an I'm sorry to hear about that. We won't be back.

Booked through Priceline and was charged many extras that I was not aware of like higher resort fee, parking fee, occupancy tax which I already paid through Priceline, and other taxes. When I asked for an explanation at check in, they just looked blindly into their computer screen and said it would be taken care of upon at checkout. At checkout, they smiled, said it was taken care of and my receipt had been emailed. Needless to say, upon review of my bill, I found numerous charges that I was not aware of and not explained to me. I have reached out to discuss my issue with a manager only to be hung up on and sent to voicemail. I am not holding my breath for a callback! This is not 4 star service and not a 4 star hotel. Location is beautiful on white sandy beaches but the property is old and dated. Maintenance does an excellent job keeping things clean but it has been through multiple renovations and it shows. If you want an overpriced beachfront motel where you pay extra for everything, then this is the place for you.

Overall, this was a great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The girls were beautiful. We love all the little extras. They had like the vintage Volkswagen festival with the activities for the kids. I like how they were several places in there you could get food. We rented a room with the pool deck. We were so excited about it, but couldn’t really get in the pool because it wasn’t heated. I understand why you didn’t quite love was that the pool didn’t close till 11 o’clock at night which made it kind of loud when we have young children trying to get to sleep. if we had known that we might have booked a different room.

Went for a destination wedding this past summer. The beach is beautiful. White sand beach and clear waters was the only thing worth a thing. but it was not worth the price for the motel quality room..

Sweet spot on the beach good food good music good drinks and yes the locals do come here......Make sure you catch it on a weeknight with local entertainment... just make sure if you come here don’t make it about the money make sure you love your fellow man
