The Patriot was awesome. Sausage was a bit spicy. The meat was tender and juicy. Brisket spot on. Ribs. Yum. The Shepards pie was to die for..5 stars restaurant.

I am trying to figure out how I haven’t heard about this bbq place sooner. Our first time experience we got take out and absolutely everything was perfect. I did not even have to ask for plastic ware and everything I needed was there so my family and I could enjoy our meal. The flavor of the food was incredible. I have to say I’m extremely impressed. I can’t wait to take my friends and family here to eat. It was worth every penny!

Not bad for a small town eatery, the brisket was very good but not excellent. The green bean casserole beans came from a can, but their pit style beans were really good. We may try it again, but we weren't blown

When I order the rib sandwich they tell me is 4 ribs with 2 slices of Texas toast bread and the order only have 3 Cold ribs.the sausage order is only 2 sausage with one Slice of Texas bread.they serve the sides on a really small cup and the cup is only 1/2 way , not full.all that for 25$ . They ripped me off

The food tastes really good, but we weren’t able to get what we wanted because they only make food for one day and when they are out, they’re out. I can understand that for the meat, but for the sides, they need to make enough to have plenty for all day and then some.

Last year our "snowbird" winter took us to Texas. We just knew the bbq there would be outstanding. We found a couple places that we'd say we're really good but we both agreed that ALL places needed to up their "sides" game. Fast forward to this year...camping in Lake Wales and found this little gem!! The bbq is BETTER than anywhere we've had it. And their sides...oh my! That apple slaw, those baked beans, mac n cheese, collard greens now that is how you do sides!! Even their cornbread is outstanding ?We've visited 2 times this week and are looking forward to many more when we return to this area for our next snowbird winter. Thank you Frostproof BBQ for the BEST food we've had while here in Florida. You deserve every trophy on your wall!!

Everything was very hot fresh and very delish!The price was reasonable and it was a nice clean dining area with lots of trophy's supporting the amazing flavor experience.I highly recommend this BBQ place!

Have eaten there a few times. Food is delicious. Big disappointment tonight because they were out of ribs. Otherwise it is a great place to eat. We get the Patriot and have enough food left over for 2 more meals for 2 of us. Highly recommend.

First time there and was very impressed. Sloppy rib sandwich, pulled pork sandwiches, tater salad, BBQ baked beans and Mac n cheese. Quick service, great food and great ambiance. Will be back.

Would love nothing more than to give a 5 star rating but I just can't do it. I have eaten here about 3 times and attempted to eat there I believe 2 more times for a total of 5. Last 2 attempts were unsuccessful. 1 attempt was a mere oversight of their operating hours. Closed on Wed. before Thanksgiving but the system allowed an online order to be placed. Manager was courteous enough to call me at least. Was soooo looking forward to the smoked sausage. Last attempt was a disaster. 35 minute window from time online order placed to the time "supposed" to be ready for pick up. Showed up at the 35 minute window and it went downhill from there. Greeter had no idea what I ordered and then about 5 minutes later after letting him know I ordered the chikn & yellow rice special & sausage meat, comes back to say about 10 more minutes. Just had a rush, looked to be 4-5 tables. WOW, Very irritated at that point and just cancelled the order. Again, disappointed after planning my day around having lunch from there. Unfortunately, I won't subject myself to another disappointment.

I ordered BBQ to go for my whole family who we were visiting in the area. The food and smell speaks for itself; this is the best BBQ in the area by far. We enjoyed a massive couch potato, the patriot, the grilled cheese and just about every side available. The homemade banana pudding was top notch. The price and portions are unmatched. We will be back if we visit the area again.

This was the best bbq ever! We had ribs and pulled pork and pulled chicken with garlic bread and chips with Buffalo rib dip. Mac and cheese and the best loaded potato salad and collard greens and banana pudding. Definitely give them a try if you’re ever in Frostproof! They did mix up our order as we were supposed to get brisket but they gave us pulled pork but not complaining because everything was absolutely delicious! ???

I placed an order online and picked it up. Got home and half my order was missing. They wanted me to come back to get it. I live out of town and did not want to make the 20 min drive to go back. I asked for a refund for only the food I didn't receive. They said they couldn't do it that a manager would have to call me back the next day. Never received a call. Sad because the food I did get was excellent. But I won't be going back. No integrity.
