I always look forward to see what new creation is on the specials sheet. Last week they had a peach biscuit bites with caramel and pecans. Service is always great. They have staff that have been with them several years. Locally owned and locally loved.

Visited today for the first time. The breakfast menu is phenomenal. There is something for everyone, from traditional items to vegetarian and their own creations. They say the food is made fresh and it shows in the quality. Portions are large. Service is excellent and employees seem happy working there. Check out the artwork and old photos on the walls! This has to be the best breakfast spot in Alachua County. I will be driving 30+ minutes to eat there again.....and so worth it!

I’m from New York living in Gainesville for two years and have eaten at nearly every restaurant in town, many in high regards to the locals, but are always shockingly abysmal to the tastebuds with a great embarrassment to the culinary community. However, 43rd Street Deli is the one exception in Gainesville that is a must in your regular breakfast/brunch rotation. It was the first time and we will be back. The special, Bahni Mi Benedict, was 100% bomb! Everything was properly seasoned with actual love put into the food.

We went during a busy Saturday morning. Even with people waiting outside it only took 20-30 minutes to be sat. Food was delicious!! Service was good. Slower (cause she was busy) but good. All 4 people in our party enjoyed their dinner including 2 of their daily specials. Big fans, we will definitely be back!

My husband got the special, a English muffin topped with lobster cakes, poached eggs, with a yummy sauce, with mashed browns. Very filling and very good! I got a side of corned beef hash, with the slices of bacon. Delicious!
