I love this place! It's seen several owners and themes over the years. It was a couple of different biker bars in the past but it's a long way from that now! The present owner and bar manager have turned this place into a long needed refuge for an under-served community. The LGBTQTIA+ community has needed a gathering place for socializing and education. They are great and the facilities are very welcoming. If you looking for a place to hang out and meet like minded folks, this is a good place.

Please don't waste your time here. The "bartender" (in scare quotes because she doesn't really know what she's doing) thinks herself a social justice warrior and will basically argue with anyone about anything, resorting to the lowest levels of insults to counter what must be her own sense of insecurity. I've patronized this bar since it opened three years ago, and have watched it struggle but continued to support it, but now with a truly vile excuse for a human being behind the bar, I'm done. Gainesville has plenty of welcoming establishments where one can get a quality drink and have a good time. This is not one of them.
The service is slow. The staff are rude. They claim to be an inclusive and accepting establishment but that clearly only applies to friends of the owners/managers. New/visiting customers certainly aren't made to feel welcome at all. Telling the manager about your negative experience will get you berated and leaving honest negative reviews on their Facebook page will get you blocked. I guess they don't want honest or constructive feedback. Oh well. There are nicer places to get watered down drinks from bitter servers at better prices.

I lived in Gainesville for about 8 years and can say that this place, and the employees working there are not representative of the community. Gainesville is an awesome place with awesome people. This is a hugely negative, vile, and toxic environment. Take your business elsewhere. Anywhere else in town is going to give you the Gainesville experience. If you're in town for one night, one week, one month (or relocating?) do yourself a favor and skip this dump.

Amazing atmosphere, its got such great vibes and wonderful staff. The drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. There are events going on all the time, and you get to really feel involved and welcomed. Its such a relaxed environment, it feels like home.

Bartender has zero respect for anyone that disagrees with her and resorts to derogatory attacks. Owner simply backs her. This bar initially had promise had the owner took the time to listen to the happy hour regulars that previously went to MC and dropped $20 -$60 bucks a pop at least 3 times a week. It's now become a "save the bar" event every weekend ...too many great places to congregate in the ville
