Happened to be texting with a friend while in Gainesville for work with my coworker. Went to Applebees for some salmon.Walked in and it was absolutely freezing. No exaggeration. It was cold outside due to a cold front which required a jacket. My nose started running inside… it was just that cold.Originally we were going to sit and eat but decided to get it to go. Took 20 minutes for the “to-go” waiter to see what we wanted. Communication among staff is horrible. Very much a “I just work here attitude.”Major homeless problem right outside the doors.Ended up getting the salmon dishes, decided to check the food and I’m glad I did. I eat Applebees all the time so the size of the salmon is pretty consistent. NO HERE! Literally was a sliver of salmon. I asked for fresh broccoli but of course it was so old it just dissolved in my hand.Ended up getting a refund for all items purchased. Ended up going to Millers. Avoid this location. You’ve been warned.

Today I ordered delivery and Door dash stole my food,the manager on duty alana,went above and beyond her job to get my food to me,she was very polite and calm threw the whole situation,even when I was upset,she's amazing and I will go out my way to go to this apple bee just because of her...Newberry rd yall
