This place is awesome! Very coastal and fun vibe to the restaurant. The food is delicious too! I usually get the Outrigger bowl which has all my favorite fruit. They have plenty of options and serve tacos too! Give it a try if you’re in the jonesville area.

I recently went to the Big Island Bowls in Tioga and got an Açaí Bowl and it was delicious! The customer service was exceptional and the store was so cute, a very warm and friendly environment! I’ve been to many other Açaí places in Gainesville and this was by far the best portions and freshest ingredients! 10/10 highly recommended!!

Average at best. It should be illegal to call oatmeal flakes granola.

Echoing other reviews left recently- the quality in food has unfortunately really gone down. They used to be my favorite place for acai bowls but after my last few experiences I will have to find somewhere else. Acai is icy and lacks any flavor, the toppings were stale, and fruit was overly ripe to the point it tasted fermented. Really unfortunate. I hope they’re able to get their quality control sorted.

I had a horrible experience at this place the other day. The older lady, come to find out owner, was terribly rude to me, was very dismissive and helped customers that came in way after me. After a long wait I was greeted with food that tasted as if it had been sitting out for ages, bland, and absolutely not what was advertised. If looking for a healthy and fresh place to eat, I would look elsewhere.

Horrible.. tuna was smelly and they tried covering everything up in an excessive amount of sauce.

Worst employer experience of my life. Food is mediocre and the atmosphere is unbearably unpleasant, as a customer and as an employee. I have never felt more unwelcome.

Every time I've gone I have gotten an acia bowl. Recently when I go my fruit toppings were still frozen and it was difficult to eat :/ I also had a friend join their team recently and was treated very poorly on their first week and told they didn't have the skills needed to work here after only working a couple training shifts. After reading other reviews this makes more sense as it seems like they don't want to take the time to properly train their employees. I'm very disappointed because this was one of the only spots in Gainesville with good proportions for their bowls. Their prices are also a little difficult to accept in comparison to other places in town.

I like the idea of fresh & healthy & that's why I originally tried this spot. My first visit was fine & I enjoyed the teriyaki tuna poke bowl. This last visit, not so much. When I got home the rice was swimming in the sauce & as much as I tried to enjoy it, I couldn't because it was soggy & salty. I called & asked if they could remake it & they did, but it just wasn't good, plus it gave me the bubble guts the next day. I appreciate the good customer service & the portions, but this last visit was quite disappointing.

There aren’t many places to get açaí bowls, and you can’t go wrong here! A little pricy but delicious.

I was very pleased with my foot sweet and spicy bowl with Tuna. Service was good as well. More seating with tables is the only reason it didn't get a 5 star.

Had a food truck event at our college and decided to try their poke bowl. Was very disappointed in serving size considering the 17$ price tag with tip (felt forced to tip when using card as the girl is blatantly staring at you while you process payment). The rice isn’t even sushi rice it was basmati, it was served hot with cold tuna chunks which inevitably made the sushi itself warm (not a pleasant experience). The tuna itself was very tough to eat, and I love sushi. Very poor quality as there was quite a few pieces with inedible silver skin. Was very disappointed in the food truck, maybe store itself is better quality but would not get again.
