Classic Seafood. Have never had any issues with food quality. The portions have not changed the entire time I have eaten here. The prices have gone up a $2.00-$3.00 dollars for the Shrimp. Only change is they used to offer a smaller option kind of a lunch size for dinner, but don’t anymore. One of the only places in town that the price reflects the serving size left in Gainesville. You will leave full. Dating myself here, but have been coming to this place for 15 years. My Granny and Dad loved coming here. Many family birthday celebrations. Service can be hit or miss as far as personality , but you see the hustle and effort that most of them have. They are working and not on their phones or just standing around.Kid-friendliness: Never had an issue with my kids and service.

We frequent the one in Lake City, and we were not disappointed with this one!!!! We were an after lunch crowed. They do a lot of take out. Can't say enough, you get quantity and quality for what you pay for in both locations!!!!

Run in here , if you want to have Stephanie profile you and ignore you, as I was by her. She served everyone else around me at other tables. . Approximately twenty minutes of being ignored and waiting to order, is no joke. How was the food? No idea , but judging from the traffic in this place....it must be amazing! Although, I was never given a chance to even try the food as the big black waitress Stephanie was upset that I asked her to please let me look at the drink menu, for starters. I will know what to order to drink once she comes, in maybe, a few minutes. She inconspicuously granted and walked off without a smile or word to me. I dine out enough that my money is better spent elsewhere. Especially, having had lots of exposure to exemplary customer service all around the world, including Europe.Stephanie needs more than an inservice on hospitality, but an extended course in hygiene. Please remember that you are deal with the public and around food. , Stephanie. Well Stephanie deemed it necessary NOT to even come back over to my table to get my drink and/or appetizer order. I was completely ignored in this lovely rural hick joint. Again, no baring on the food.Message to the manager:Word of good or bad experiences travel far and expeditiously.
