I thought the donuts were good. We had a Blueberry Cake, Apple Fritter and Bavarian Cream. They do glaze the cake donut which I prefer to have it unglazed. My husband tried the breakfast burrito and did not care for it. He said it was small and luke warm. The prices are fair though. You can only get food to go.

This place honestly has the best donuts ever! The texture for each kind is perfect and they fill the Bavarian cream to order. They do the same for other fillings. The apple fritters are also fantastic.

From the outside, the restaurant is more than inconspicuous and looks a bit run down, but the food was worth more than 5 stars.An absolute tip if you are in Gainesville.After that, however, you will never want to eat donuts at the big chain again. Very good price, per donuts.In business since 1954, the quality is right.

It's a great place for donuts. I've worked in several donut shops and this one is my favorite, because of the the sweet/ savory options, quality and flavors. Kolaches are amazing, donuts are soft and perfectly sized. So good. Highly recommended.

Reasonably priced, pretty tasty, old school donut shop with friendly employees....Daylight Donuts summed up for you. I like the red velvet, the maple, strawberry and vanilla. The donuts are light and as for portion size, just right. The kolaches are pretty tasty too. Were these donuts the best I ever had? No. Were they worst stopping by on a nice chill morning when I was craving a treat? Definitely.
