Horrible experience. We stayed at the Best Western Grand, and went to the Gator's Den Sports Bar restaurant for dinner. The service was horrible, and the manager had an upset face and an arrogant and unwelcoming attitude. We were happy playing dominoes at our table, and were told we were making too much noise. We were offended by the tone and the fact that we were not noisy at all, and if sports bars are not for you to play, enjoy and have fun, what are they for? We decided to look for another hotel to extend our stay in Gainesville, because of the restaurant's poor experience. Hotel and restaurant's managers should choose their employees more carefully.

Good luck finding anyone to help you there? Me and my girlfriend went for lunch and when we walked in all we got were blank stares and we were totally ignored. We ended up seating ourselves and sat there for a good 10 mins and still had not been acknowledged by anyone and not even a simple hello. We stood up and walked out. The don't get a second chance. That's BS

Had so much fun at Gators Den. Was invited by an old friend from Miami !! Shout out to Eleir, the best bartender there !! Loved the food, the vibe, and as a musician, a place like Gator Dens has fun music, great to see locals !! Get over there now !!

Friendly hotel bar, nice staff. Typical bar food of appetizers, wings, burgers, sandwiches on regular menu. Specials menu with pastas and fish. We had the fried cod, fries and slaw. Generous portions, Good food. Nice place to kick back after a long drive.

I left an excellent review on the Best Western website. I should have done it here. On Saturday, the 20, 2024, my wife and I had dinner here. Our server Joe made a great dinner exceptional!He was very courteous and attentive.I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner.
Had spinach and artichoke dip chips were hard as a rock and very little dip and Philly egg rolls that were very greasy. Drinks were good and bar tender also

First, bartender Jessi is the BEST!! She is so caring for her bar patrons. She remembers my drink of choice and practically has it poured before I have seat. So sweet!! Love her!! We are staying at the hotel so Gator's is attached and very convenient. Here for a week and had lots of meals. Each is gourmet quality and each meal has been freshly made and delicious. Blackened Grouper, City Brats, Dry Rub Cajun wings (spot on PERFECT with blue cheese of course). Did I mention Jessi? Oh yeah, million dollar smile!!! NFL, MLB, Gators & sports TV big screens all over the place. Okay, they are pretty dialed in, so say hi to Jessi for us. She's the best!!
