“I love the concept of UC as a gay bar and the top floor is fantastic. The bartenders are great. However in the bottom floor the music is jarring and just generally bad. I appreciate a departure from other gay bars but the mixing by the DJ can only be described as chaotic and cacophony. So much room for improvement. The music feels worse than the music you would hear at a straight bar. Even arcade bar around the corner has gayer music than this.it's unfortunately appalling. A change of DJ or at least whatever playlist he's hitting play on would be very much beneficial for this bar.Edit: the new dj is much better. That really brought the vibes up“
