Wow grog was such an experience. Never in my life did I think I was going to get grogged until this fated night. I'd 100% recommend grog to anyone that's looking to get absolutely hammered and nail some 3/10s. You know what they say say 3+3+3=9 . Didn't really have the food but the fat chicks had me going crazy yfm. God I love grog.

I got my second drink, and asked for an “extra dry” vodka cranberry. The bar tender said he didn’t understand what I meant, and served me a regular lemonade after throwing out the extra dry vodka cranberry after taking my tip. Never come here, unless you want to experience a bar full of inexperienced college drinkers and get served by dim witted bar tenders.

HORRIBLE and Inappropriate security employed at Grog! One of the employees said he was security and yelled at my daughter's out of town guest for holding his friend's drink while he went to the restroom. He should not be holding a drink under age, yes, but it was his 21 year old friend's drink and you don't trust to leave your drink unattended while using the restroom. Without asking any questions, this security guard cursed at him and put his hands on her friend and threw him out. He was pushing him even though he was complying and leaving on his own, but also trying to explain. When my daughter asked to explain, he called her a bitch and told her to shut up! He blocked her from walking away from him and she asked him to move. He didn't and turned his back to her. She placed her hand on his back and said "I'm moving past you!" He then followed her to where her friends were, put his hands on her and PUSHED her towards the door and told her to get out! She did tell him to NOT put his hands on her, to use his words, and he proceeded to call her a fing bitch! She is 5'3" and 100 lbs! Needless to say, this "security" guy is way out of line and inappropriate! She is never going back there and management will be called. Do not jump to conclusions and immediately treat someone like they are hostile! These are GOOD "kids" and they are responsible and respectful, until they are manhandled in an aggressive manner! My daughter was right, use your words and talk/ask questions! You have no right to curse at them and touch them in any manner!

Grog is honestly the most abysmal bar in Gainesville. Inside is gross and the customer service is terrible. Team Akhil

Total beta boy bartending, and using this platform to work out his issues I walked in sober, and they had up a list of specials, but it was 12 minutes til turn of midnite, so i asked which of the specials pertained in the current moment. He replied curtly and unfriendly, that he would not serve someone who 'didn't know what day it was' I'm 52, arrived hoping to enjoy my first drink of the day, am a lawyer and carry myself kindly, in good humor, and well-dressed. His performance tonite is i hope an outlier by his own standards. And to confirm that, i'll be meeting with the bar owner to ensure the lad was just having a bad day.

Not only was I racially profiled but the “white” bartender said she was black. I asked what she was mixed with she said “nothing”she said it was illegal for me to enter I had proper. Identification and my school ID she left everyone in but me. The one colored co worker let me up the stairs but when all the white bartenders saw me they did not let me in. I did state again that I did feel disrespected and she said she didn’t care because she was black. I personally asked what she was mixed with and she said nothing but white I would never recommended to anyone of color. I would never want anyone to feel as uncomfortable and disrespected as myself. I hope you guys read this post but I do stand for all right and black rights especially ! I did start a petition over a year ago for someone else wrongfully arrested and I did get over 10,000 signatures!
