Got the banzai roll and the king lobster roll. Best sushi in town! Was seated at the bar cause the place was packed. Will be back for the banzai roll again and try out their selection of sake too haha

My wife and I went here for Valentine's Day. It was extremely busy, and we sat at the bar. The service was great as busy as it was. Our server was very attentive and gave great suggestions on food choices.The fried oyster appetizer was great. The sushi was fresh and tasty.

this restaurant is tucked away on the edge of a strip mall so I had very low expectations… satisfaction would be an understatement. Hands down the best sushi in Gainesville Florida and I am very picky about quality as I have travelled to various countries in Asia to have food experiences. I highly recommend the yellowtail with scallion as it is some of the best I have tasted. Their house rolls were also very creative and had an amazing variety of textures and flavors which were extremely cohesive. All of this aside, We show up around 9PM on a Friday and only had to wait 10 minutes (no reservations BTW) which is less than I expected. Our waiter was very polite and service was so fast. (Less then 45 minutes in and out) if I could give this place 10 starts I would, definition of don’t judge a book by its cover. Not only this, very very inexpensive for what you get, my boyfriend and I were absolutely stuffed and payed $67 and we eat a lot. OVERALL I highly recommend Hana Sushi to any sushi lovers in the Gainesville area. 10/10
Me and my toddler went for lunch and our Waiter Bradley was a fantastic server. He brought her food out first and checked on us often. The sushi was great and the kids meals are a large portion with vegetables in it!
