What a find. We are only passing through but made a point to stop here to eat. I wish we could come back and try all the rest of the menu. Had to try the popular huevos rancheros and we were not disappointed. Superlative version. Perfect balance of flavors, not too spicy, not too cheesy, fresh ingredients, homemade tortilla. And the fish tacos were off the charts. Again, those homemade tortillas, fresh fish and herbs, sautéed lightly, homemade salsa. Truly deserving of five stars.
Wonderful cuban sandwich. Reasonable price. While getting my car serviced at that!
Excellent food and great service from our waitress Zan. Had to wait a bit to be seated and for our food to arrive but we didn't mind. We tried the Reuben sandwich (nice size with lots of meat) and the special, a scallop Poboy sandwich, with a side of French fries. Everything was amazing. Definitely would recommend and will be returning.
Wake up and get your name down on the list quick because the wait gets long. Let me just say that it's worth the wait! I ordered the huevos rancheros with the chorizo sausage and it was amazing.
Great food, this place is always busy. There's usually a wait to be seated especially in the summer. But totally worth the wait.
Use to love this place but was very disappointed by the take out. We ordered biscuit and gravy and an omelette. Was not impressed by either dish and honestly could of made them myself. Warning raw onions were all throughout the gravy! Ending up throwing it out. Cheese was also not melted on omelette and way too many mushrooms compared to the small amount of cheese. Hopefully when dine in service opens again they can get back into their groove.
Always love the fish Tacos!! Friendly staff, clean, delicious food, easy online ordering, takes covid seriously. I also love their baked goods!
A pleasant brunch spot in a quiet town. Their french toast was absolutely everything you should expect a french toast to be. Crunchy exterior on a fluffy sweet bread. Topped with local blueberries. It made up for a disappointing french toast I had at another place from the day before. They have outdoor seating and brought a water bowl for my dog. Their pastries were also excellent, I highly recommend. There were some entree specials I saw on their Instagram I was hoping to try, but they were seasonal and I missed them by a few weeks.
Try the El Cubano. It's one of the best sandwiches in town. Consistent, delicious and I'm always sad when I finish it. I have had other sammies there and all were very good. Before this crazy virus my wife and I had breakfast which was very good. Good job!
Just. WOW! Here for the week from out of town and trying all the local places - so glad we discovered Home Kitchen days before we leave so we can go again! We had the Bahn Home and Haddock sandwiches and both were amazing! The Bahn home was so flavorful and spicy, and the Haddock was a huge piece of fish just perfectly cooked on the most delicious brioche bun I've ever had. Both sandwiches were large and so fresh. We had the cole slaw as a side and it was also tasty - not your average cole slaw. Because we're still in the middle of a pandemic we called in our order and picked up inside - it felt very safe and they are being very cautious. Wear your masks to pick up! We are going back to pick up breakfast tomorrow, it was that good! No photos to add - we couldn't wait to dig into the deliciousness!
The restaurant isn't doing any waiter service onsite. You can choose to eat on their deck, but you order takeout and they will bring it to you. This is not the reason I gave it a low score. All the food was very bland. My girlfriend and I got the Special Brussels Sprout Omelette and the Garden Omelette. The vegetables in the omelettes were good, but the egg needed salt and pepper. Didn't taste like much. My girlfriend also got the polenta on the side and it also tasted like nothing. Unfortunate.
Very good and worth the drive. They were really nice to us as stayed open a little later for us because they knew were hungry travelers and nothing is open during covid. I recommend the huevos rancheros. The eggs Benedict was amazing too.
It was a cool & breezy morning but the sun was shining bright and there was only outdoor seating, so we were okay with that and the meal was totally worth sitting outside for! Coffee warmed us up fast and sitting in the garden was actually a nice ambiance. I got the French toast with blueberries and I have to say- it was the best French toast I ever had in my life- and I've had many! They do it a little different- seems like after they dip the bread in the batter, they fry it on the grill, giving it a crispy yummy texture. Hubs had the corn beef hash and poached eggs and he said it was great meat/potato ratio as some he's had elsewhere was mostly potato hash. He loved the homemade biscuit that came with the meal. Our friends LOVED their meals: pancakes and omelettes. Very fresh and tasty. The service was fabulous. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. The response to COVID was very well done- only the waitress handled the creams and sugar and the menus were wiped down with bleach mix between usage. Wonderful experience!
Wonderful little cafe. The food was excellent. We had the Cuban sandwich. The spice was just right and the baked in house bread was to die for!
Delicious meal!! Ordered the breakfast fried rice. Husband had the tortilla scrambled dish. Everything was fresh and tasty. The cinnamon bun wasn't as good as I had envisioned so I only gave 4 out of 5 stars.
