No one at the store! Allowed to place online order, and no one was there to make it. Store was completely closed. No one answers the phone, corporate is no help.

Posted hours say they're open till 7pm, showed up at 6:25 and the employees said they wouldn't serve us because they close at 6:30. This was the third time in a row I've gone to pita pit during their posted hours and they weren't open. I think the food is good but it's been so long since they have allowed me to purchase their food it's hard to remember. I don't think I'll give them the opportunity to disappoint me a fourth time.

I came during store hours. Door was unlocked. A young person on his cell was sitting at a table. Person stated they were closed.

I used to love this place. Came in today after several months and ordered a Gyro pita, drink and chips, cost $18 dollars. There was no one in the place except for two workers and the workers kid (aprox 10 years old). The TV was blasting a cartoon on high volume in the entire establishment, I could not hear my headphones over the tv. The kid and workers starred at me the entire time I ate. I felt like I was interrupting and in someone else's house. This unfortunately will be the last time I go here. The pita was not that great like it usually is and the cost, service and atmosphere does not justify the food.

June thanks for the friendly service since this was our first visit. It’s nice to be able to pick my ingredients. And pitas sturdy enough to load up with goodies. Restaurant was clean and has off street parking-right by UF!! We will be back.

Honestly not super impressed. Ordered gyro. Meat was not traditional off a roaster instead came out of a drawer, preformed and heated on a grill. No idea how fresh it was but it didn't taste fresh. Next the taziki sauce was runny. They steamed the pita and tore it in half so they could make it a burrito.. not the way to make a gyro. Food was ok but not great. I will definitely not be back. Godda be a better gyro in Gainesville somewhere.

Guys did not want to work last night. The "manager" kept yelling at the people in line for unlocking the door (which none of them did...yet). When asked how do we get out after purchasing a pita, he said wait for me to unlock the door. The guy was literally holding people captive once they bought a pita and then complained we were unlocking the door. The whole while not making pitas. I suggested very firmly that this wasn't a sustainable process and he got visibly angry with me...almost violent. It's not okay to jail people for a pita. I don't care how nostalgic it is.NOTE: the nostalgia references eating a pita after going out in Gainesville, not being in jail.

Just not that good. The avocado they used was a dark, dark color. And super small on the portions. 11.00 + 3.00 tip. Not worth the money. The different locations seem to vary on the standard of the same quality every time.

Food is alright for the money. Location is pretty grimey because of midtown and parking is a mess. The staff inside is super nice and helpful! I got a Souvlaki bowl with a ton of toppings (spinach, bell pepper, onion, sauces, tomato, and more) over brown rice. I wont lie the sauce was the best part of the whole bowl, the rest of it was just lacking flavor. It's really just a bunch of toppings on some lightly seasoned chicken and rice. I've had better tasting and more authentic middle eastern around UF for sure. Maybe steer clear of the rice bowls but be sure to try it out, never hurt anyone!

I came to eat at this place at 1:30am. On google it says they close at 3. The lady said the time changed. Even if it changed it would be 12:30am. Maybe they should change the time they are open till. 11.7.21
