Went to eat yesterday (Friday) at the Gainesville FL location.Around 4:15 pm. Our waitress ( which was a nice person) completely does not need to be in that line of work.We waited for more than 10 minutes up front to be seated, there were 2 other couples that had been waiting longer. No one new where the hostess was.… he then finally walked out of the bathroom..He didn’t apologize or anything to any of us.I could go on and on.The food was fair at its best .108.00 $ spent on me my 3 yr old son and my girlfriend. Our waitress only had 1 other table. And there was only about 12 tables of people inside at best. However they still couldn’t get it together. Not a great red lobster experience.

Gainesville location . I normally come to this location and have never had an issue until today . Our server was super amazing however our food was definitely not .the lobster tail was very rubbery and fishy smelling ( this is normally my favorite dish ?)The crispy brussel sprouts were more like burnt brussel sprouts . Out of kindness I didn't complain because I brought my mother here for the first time . I'm not sure if they changed their cook or what but I'm deeply unsatisfied especially considering we spent $200 and it was for my mom's birthday .

"An Utter Letdown at The Red Lobster"Where to begin with the debacle that was our evening at The Red Lobster? Anticipation had us buoyant; we were set to dive into a sea of promised delights, our nets cast wide for Lobster Tail, Crab Legs, Shrimp Linguine, Garlic Shrimp, Fries, and Bacon Mac and Cheese. Alas, what we reeled in was nothing short of a maritime tragedy. The Lobster Tail, the supposed jewel of the deep, was a desiccated remnant of what once might have been a marine marvel. The Crab Legs, which should crack open to reveal treasures within, were more akin to opening a treasure chest only to find it stuffed with sand. And the Shrimp Linguine? An uninspired, soggy affair that seemed as though the shrimp had made a great escape back to the sea, leaving behind only their faintest essence.Let's not forget the Garlic Shrimp, which was a mystifying experience; one had to wonder if the garlic had gone on vacation, leaving the shrimp to fend for themselves in a bland abyss. The Fries, a simple dish one would think hard to ruin, were limpid and lifeless, as if they too had given up hope of providing any gastronomic joy.The pièce de résistance of disappointment, however, was the Bacon Mac and Cheese. What should have been a comforting concoction of creamy cheese and crispy bacon amidst tender pasta turned out to be a congealed mass that seemed to question its own existence with every tepid forkful. In conclusion, our meal at The Red Lobster was a culinary voyage that led not to a treasure island of flavors but to the doldrums of disappointment. One can only hope this was an off night for the kitchen, but with waves of discontent still crashing against the shores of our palates, it may be some time before we set sail for The Red Lobster's waters again.

Food was ok like any red lobster. My gripe is this particular location next to two hotels doesn't give out cutlery with to go orders. So if your traveling and want to eat a to go order I hope ya brought a fork.. if not, enjoy eating with your hands.

I'm not sure what happened to Red Lobster, but ughhh!!! The food was absolutely horrible, the place smelled like some dirty dish water. And we went around lunchtime. Not many ppl were there, so I was hopeful. Smh! Good

I just had to go for the lobster fest. I haven't had lobster since I moved from New York to Florida in September 2022. And I haven't eaten at a Red lobster for almost 10 years when I last visited my home state of Ohio. I was quite pleased with the changes in the menu through those years. I was pleased to see there were daily lunch specials at reduced prices that you could have each day. That in itself will make me go back. I tried the fried lobster and shrimp stack. The food portions were enormous and could have easily been shared by two. In fact, I brought half of my meal home to eat for dinner the next day. My server was excellent! Kudos to Lisa for making my dining experience extra special and going that extra mile for me. I do plan to return as there were a couple of other things I would love to try. I will make certain to ask for Lisa's table and be willing to wait. I was surprised that when I arrived for lunch there was a 20-minute wait. However, I did not have a problem with that and would do it again. Just a heads up though, there'll be some changes to the special lunch menu as well as the specials shrimp feast option they have. If you enjoy seafood, this is a great place to go as they have a wide variety of all kinds of fish and seafood. They also have other protein selections if you don't particularly care for seafood but ari dining with someone who does.Parking: Large number of handicap parking slots as well as regular off Street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

We stopped by for an early dinner. Being from ME we liked the signs that reminded us of home. I had Fish and Chips it was good except the fish was a bit overcooked, otherwise everything else was excellent.
