My husband and I met the owner Maya seredipitously at lunch on her birthday. We are major foodies and appreciate quality. After meeting Maya we knew we wanted to go to her restaurant for dinner. We were not dissapointed! We loved everything from the wines, small and large plates, and the lavender cake dessert and cold brew coffee, which was extraordinary. The indoor and outside ambience was magical. Great warm and friendly staff added to our fully complete experience.

Superette is a gem, with a beautiful outdoor courtyard that feels very European. It's fantastic for having a glass of beer or wine, and it offers some delicious Mediterranean-style food. We ordered seasoned French fries with aioli that were delivered piping hot -- fantastic. You need to check out Superette, especially as the weather gets nice. Beautiful Florida evenings at Superette!

Nice place to sit outside, drink wine and have a little snack. It can get pricey though.

I found this place on yelp. It's a wonderful place to go. They do have a parking lot but if it gets busy, I don't know if there's a back up place to park. We went there early on Friday evening and there was plenty of parking. It's great to go when the weathers nice outside because there's tons of outdoor seating. You come in and they have a pretty good menu, you at the bar to order and you take your seat. They bring the food to you. The food is pretty good and the charcuterie board is delicious. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the lavender cake. I would say it's a little expensive for the portion sizes. I ordered a non- alcoholic drink and it was $12- it came out of a can. That seems a little excessive in my opinion, but other than that, I enjoyed my time there and the charcuterie board -including the steak and the appetizers. For the portion sizes I do think they should be a little bit cheaper, but their flavors are good. The service is pretty good too. We had a nice time. there's tons of selection. There's an extensive appetizer and dinner menu. I would definitely recommend this place to go get drinks, a date or someplace to chill.

I went to visit my daughter at University of Florida for the weekend and looked at Yelp for suggestions. This place came up. We arrived and it's the cutest outdoor area with lots of tables. You need to order in the counter for outside or full service for the inside. The weather was 64 degrees so we ate outside. They sell wine by the glass or full bottles along with beer. The menu is farm to table style. We order to start a Mezze sampler with hummus, roasted red pepper and babbaganoush. It also included pita bread, grape leaves with rice and olives. It was delicious. Second, we order a roasted beets and kale with a balsamic glaze. We had the small portion and perfect for two. As main plate we order the chicken plate with spice Greek rice (it was not that spicy) with veggies and mustard seeds. Everything we order we share for two and we were full. It is a very cute place for a date or fun with friends. Device was great. The food took a while and waited around 40 minutes. Had a great time with my daughter did not mind waited. We catch up in conversations.

We come for dates or hangouts with friends a couple times a month and it’s always 5 stars. But also, my best friends got married here about a month ago and the staff pulled it off flawlessly. The owner, Maya, was totally on top of her game. Beautiful outdoor space with a perfectly executed contingency plan to move things indoors when it started raining. The bride and groom were extremely happy and Mayas leadership made our job setting up and dodging the rain easy. Food and drink was phenomenal as always. Highly recommend superette for events. Awesome time.

Fantastic food. Great service. High prices. A bit of a pretentious crowd. Still… the food is incredible.

Great place to sit outside with the sun out, or inside with an attentive full service bar, cold brew and tapas. Great selection of wine, cava/sparkling and the full menu is good as well. If you haven’t been in a while, it’s been revamped. It’s well laid out with a great selection of food and drinks.

Superette was my husband and I's first choice for a venue for our wedding ceremony and reception, and they did not disappoint. The service, professionalism, kindness, and atmosphere exceeded our expectations, and the food and cake done in-house were phenomenal. The planning process leading up to the event was seamless and done with great consideration to the lovely owner, Maya, and the on-staff during the event were timely, considerate, and quick to think when our outdoor vision had to be moved inside. The flow and organization of the space is perfect for this scenario, and the staff/people ensured the experience was not stressful. They truly went above and beyond for us. We're so thankful to have had Superette as our wedding venue and cannot recommend them enough for any and all events including their usual fare and business hours for folks who are looking for a place to host that feels like home.

I am really struggling with this review. On one hand, Superette is hands down our favorite restaurant. However, several issues exist that drop this to a 3 star review. The good stuff ... ATMOSPHERE! If the weather is nice, the outside dining is unparalleled. The food is good and there are vegetarian options. The wine is good ... But pricey. The not so good ... It is pricey. I would consider the portion sizes to be modest - I was still hungry after my meal and I am not a big eater. My glass of wine, while delicious, was $13. Maybe I didn't get out enough, but that was some sticker shock for me.Finally, and maybe the most important to me is the tipping. If you eat outside, you order from a bar type area. The wait staff brings you your food. It's up to you to get your own silverware, water, etc at a self serve station. I have no problems with this setup. However, when you pay, there is the requisite tip section that starts at 22 or 23 percent. I know that I can select a custom amount, but I usually use the default amount as an indicator of what is expected. I simply cannot condone tipping like this on an already expensive meal. Pre-Covid, this would not even warrant a tip at all. I am a generous tipper if I feel there is added value. This just feels like a rip off.I will still dine here on special occasions. It is truly a nice experience. I just don't like having to do the mental gymnastics to justify the pricing and tipping.
