I don't have any photos to add because whenever i buy something here i eat it before i think to take a picture .Fav sweets are the almond+lotus paste bun and fresh pineapple filled bun... honorable mention is the jiggly almond cakeFav savory things r the pizza and the egg sandwich. That egg sandwich is full of surprises one layer has cheesy corn????? And the outside is crispy and sweet. The plain rousong bun hits the spot too ofc.One could eat a satisfying and relatively nutritious dinner here complete with a dessert for like 10$. It's so convenient ♪( ´▽｀)

Such an awesome little gem! On the outside it’s really ??? but when you go inside it’s a different little world! It’s so cute. The food looks and tasted yummy! The rolls could use some more filling though! Can wait to try the mousse next time!!

This place has a wide variety of beautiful and delicious baked goods. The staff is always happy to answer any questions you might have and some samples are ready to go depending on the time of day. Every time I've gone, they are replacing what's been bought so, you know this place is constantly making fresh baked goodies!

It looks like it's not even open from the outside, and when you walk in, it's this beautiful, clean, ambient little bakery. This looks like somewhere that would be insanely expensive in a major city. What a find! The ingredients are all pronouncable, no chemicals and preservatives. I'm eating the egg custard now, I bake, and these are a staple in English bakeries, so I was so happy they did this beautifully. The pastry is buttery,soft and crumbles so nicely. The custard is rich with cream and eggs. They have the Japanese style cheesecake here, which I haven't bought yet, the fluffy one. Really excited about this place

We only got 4 items bc we are always disappointed when we go to bakeries and ended up wasting money. Well we regret it, bc these baked items are amazing. They were all fresh and probably the best Chinese baked goods we’ve had in Florida. We will definitely make an effort to stop here next time we drive by Gainesville. Delicious!
Today was my first time visiting Sweet Buns - it did not disappoint. Outside of the building needs some updating, but the inside is quite lovely. Soft and fresh baked goods are found here for pretty low prices, I was shocked. Spent $25 and walked out with a medium sized japanese cheesecake, a red bean roll, a bavarian creme bun, a cookies & creme bun, and a coffee roll. I've only had the red bean roll so far and it was amazing. The lobby has some tables and chairs along with a microwave to heat your food up in store. I will definitely be back!

Tucked away in the corner of a busy shopping plaza some of the sweetest, eclectic treats you will find known to mankind. Maybe a good treat at the end of the day or a purchase to brighten the day of another. They have food menu items also I have not yet indulged but will be back to VERY soon to fill my pudge.
