This place hasn't had grubhub open or answered the phones in over a month or 2. I use to purchase their bowl all the time and now I can't get service at all. Is sad really bc it's my favorite place to go for food. So until this restaurant can serve there guests accordingly 1 star it is. It truly is sad.

Very mediocre, I honestly make better tacos at home using store bought ingredients. Lacked flavor and service. Really disappointing.

No place to park, I'm glad that they'll bring your order to you car. It's a pricey place, but the good is really delicious and the presentation, even for the take outs, is beautiful and very appetizing to your eyes. Well worth the price

I know this place to be really good food but this morning according to their Google they were open from 12 to 7 so we went there and arrived at 12:34 pulled in only to look and see that they had changed their hours to close till Tuesday. That is no way do business. The food is amazing but apparently unreliable. It clearly says closed today. Sorry we will come another time

The name Tacos Volcan visually shows an exploding volcano taco, but this taco mayhem needs improvement. From the makers of Volcanic Sushi on the same street, this place seems to miss everything creative. The logo visually is a volcanic eruption in a taco, making me believe I should expect some wild tacos. A picture is worth a thousand words, but your dining area pictures quality is so bad it doesn't help the food. The menu does have plenty of variations of the same stuff: lacking imagination, but easy grub when hunger strikes. Pick your taco options, so I ordered a chicken quesadilla. After a few bites, I realized this was a bland and tasteless quesadilla: large portioned but overall lacking in flavor. Out in Haile Plantation, one perceptively expects a better experience but can quickly be disillusioned. The location is small and quaint. The staff was so pleasant and welcoming. I wanted to be excited, but I was left wanting way more excitement from their food. With so many Taco places, why do we need another one that doesn't even try to excel? I hope this place considers bringing originallity. Tacos Volcan, edible, yet not exciting.

Great service. Delicious food. Friendly hosts, despite how busy it was.

We have been coming to this little area for a couple months now and decided to try Volcan Tacos. We were craving Mexican street corn! Gotta say was super impressed, everything was cooked on point. Definitely will be going back and recommending this place. Owners/staff was very professional and quick with everything we asked for.

Holy guacamole! That home made guac is the best guac ive ever had. Their elote and home made empanadas are so addicting!

To-go order!!! Went in right before closing and we were met with kindness and patience. The guy explained few things to us and gave us time to peruse the menu. We ended with four single tacos and a fried burrito. The fried burrito was not as crunchy as we had expected and lacked a little flavor. Most of its crunch came from the onions. We did get a side of guacamole to try but it was a bit too watery. The steak, shrimp, and fish tacos were tasty. I tried the soft taco shell on one of them but next time I'd prefer all on flour shells. If you go to dine in, they do have nice seating areas, both indoors and outdoors. Hopefully next time I can try their famous dessert.

Good food, good service and casual atmosphere!

Anna was a great server but maybe taking care of too many tables? We enjoyed our lobster roll, and bao bun. The sunomono salad was tasty but the octopus was so tough, so I just left it in the glass. Hubby's pork fried rice was average. Great job avoiding cross contamination for his shellfish allergy! Thanks.

Had a chicken quesadilla and it was cooked to perfection. Likely to go back once a week.

Out and about in the neighborhood on our bikes when we came across Tacos Volcan. It was early evening so we had our choice of outside tables under the towering oaks. Server appeared instantly and got our order. Drinks appeared in moments and not long after, dinner was served. Now in my sixties, I have enjoyed (mostly) Mexican cuisine all over the United States and Mexico. Tacos Volcan served me some of the best I have ever had. I had the classic Chicken Fajitas. The Chicken was tender and juicy, the onions and green peppers perfectly sautéed and the accompanying guacamole was fresh and delicious. I also was served, and thoroughly enjoyed, a side of black beans and Mexican rice. Unlike those served in most restaurants, the beans actually had some texture to go with a marvelous flavor. The rice was perfectly seasoned as well. I was also provided with homemade flour tortillas, served toasty hot. Tacos Volcan is primarily setup for takeout and meal delivery service so you will be served on disposable dishes but, with food this great, who cares? The staff are very attentive to their dine-in guests, the owner even came out to wander the tables, ensuring everyone was happy. The server was attentive but not intrusive, the prices are very reasonable and the ingredients fresh. I highly recommend you give them a try if you want quality Mexican cuisine.

We ordered take out for dinner. The food was ready quickly and the prices are fair. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. Their seating is a nice outdoor area but we weren't able to stay. We tried chicken quesadillas, elote, and the chips platter. Everything was good. My only complaint is that it's not quiet authentic Mexican food - it could have more flavor - but for a quick bite it's decent food.
