I wasn't going to enter into this back and forth, but then I saw the input from Biker D and had to input because of the lies I'm reading from the manager, a review who was evidently the waitresses' grandmother, and now Biker D (if that is your real name for it is pretty curious that you would visit once a year and just happen to check a review the following week). I was at the next table, and the family they speak about that made the review was well behaved. Good kids, two in their grandfather's lap, prayed before dinner, and were anything but loud or rude. Like me they had to try to get their waitresses' attention and waved at her no shouting. I cannot argue with the photo I saw of their food and Biker D cannot argue, either. It is too bad the manager couldn't have been more professional instead of getting so defensive at a review (though usually good, our food was substandard as well).

We arrived to an empty waiting area, & were told the wait would be 15-20 minutes; 27 minutes later, we were seated ... 'praps that was an omen that we should've left (?). After they took orders, they likely huddled in back and decided to pretend we weren't there, & so began ignoring us. While a nearby table that arrived after us was getting oodles of attention, & since she hadn't checked on us, updated us, or refilled our empty drinks (one gets thirsty when waiting for long periods without lubrication in such a desert!), we had to flag down the waitress as she sauntered by ignoring us. On another of her trips to the nearby table, 35 minutes after we ordered, we flagged her down to seek the status of our dinner -- seeing the table that arrived after us was served & happily munchin' away. She eventually came back to say they were working on our order, but the hamburger was taking a long time (Say whaaat? A hamburger struggle in a meat restaurant?). Then 45 minutes after our order was placed & 15 minutes after the nearby table had been served, she came by and said they only had one baked potato available, & we'd have to choose which of the two of us that had ordered one would take it & who would choose another side order (Say whaaaat? A meat restaurant without potatoes at 6:30 pm on a Tuesday night? In that 45 minutes we could have gone to a store and bought one for them to microwave for us! And why did it take 45 minutes to tell us?). Though we considered choosing between pistols & swords to duel over that last potato, one of us chose another side order. Well, 56 minutes after we ordered, our dinners finally arrived - unfortunately. The lone hamburger was overcooked, as were other items. The BBQ chicken (see photos) was quite burnt, skin tougher than a tarp; we flagged down the waitress & asked for a REAL knife to cut it, as they only provide plastic forks and knives. She replied they don't have real knives (Say whaaat? No knives in a meat restaurant?). Well, we got our anaerobic exercise struggling with the chicken to tear it apart to find meat (please don't tell anyone the chicken won that bout) ...much of it far too tough & dry to eat, with the wing totally burnt down to an inedible crispy critter. After the manager noticed our unhappiness, she tried to joke with us, & even offered a slight price reduction (we paid full price anyway). The crowning moment of the night came as we were leaving: a "lady" from the nearby table approached us and said we'd been wrong & rude to the waitress. Say whaaat? For inquiring about refills? For inquiring on the status of our order? For questioning about the baked potato? For asking for a knife? No! Turns out the table the waitress was devoting so much time to had her grandparents, & 'splains why they got food so quickly with continuous attention as we got zilch! Having the hilarious audacity to approach us blazingly ignorant of the facts, it's also apparent they were coddling their snowflake versus telling her how to be a good waitress, as she was obviously whining to them about how mean were to go to a restaurant & expect drinks, status of our order, to get what we ordered, & to have ability to cut meat. How mean of us, how nice of her to revise & inflate that to her grandparents, & for them to blindly believe it. As someone whose first job was in a restaura

Well I see that Roger C. Left a scathing review. I was there that night sitting two tables over. These people were the rudest wankers. Don't believe anything that was written. The staff was doing their best to please, the unpleasant, and very rude people. The food is great and the service is as well. We only come here for one week a year, and we've never had a bad experience in the 6 years we've been coming.

We had been to Rib City many times in the past and the food was good. We had ordered ribs, barbecue and the fish sandwich. We took out of town guest to the restaurant for lunch Wednesday and ordered the grouper fingers. We all love seafood and were very disappointed that the grouper finger were over breaded (some of the pieces were just breading and no fish) and cooked much too long. Many of the pieces of fish were so hard that my fork would not go in to the tines of the fork. We were very disappointed and will never order grouper fingers from there again. My suggestion is to just drop them from the menu. Love the ambiance of the building and the service was good.

Best Barbeque, best ribs, best beans, best okra, best collards....just all around delicious barbecue fair with very friendly service and fun atmosphere of unusual antiques. Forgot to take a picture. Maybe next time.

The food is Ahmazingggg! So way delicious it was out of this world! And the atmosphere is really cute and feels like you're right in Tennessee! The staff is very sweet, friendly and helpful! Making sure you have everything! This is a must to go place if you are in the mood for ribs, Wings or BBQ!

This place is consistently really good. My family and I spent most of the day at BEC up the road and we were really hungry. The wait staff was friendly and on time with everything even as busy as it was. The food was great. The ribs are a little smaller than some other places but I like them, because they were not full of fatty meat.

The food and atmosphere is great. My favorites are the baby back ribs and onion rings. Yum! We went there couple of times. Josie was our server. She was very sweet, she brought us the food right in time and she gave us some great recommendations. A+ service. We will come back for sure.

Excellent BBQ if your traveling in the Sebastian area. The best was they have apple crisp pie with vanilla ice cream. We ordered ribs with a few sides so we could save room for dessert but they have a feast you can order that has a sample of everything. The couple across from us ordered it.

I'm all about a great review left many, this place is terrible, it's right off the river. I went out on the boat came in to have a much needed meal and felt so uncomfortable, kinda like the hills have eyes. Every time I moved they watched. The food was horrible. I wanted a bbq chicken salad (this is a bbq joint) ordered white chicken , they came out and said "dark meat ok" ummm no it's not. I said it's ok I'll just eat the lettuce, they came out and said "we found some white meat for you" couldn't never eat that. I literally ordered Uber eats to have at the house before I came home. Such a bummer.

Amazing service! And very good food. I got a take out order today, and while they forgot my cheese fry appetizer, when I called to request a refund the staff and manager Judy bent over backwards to make sure to make it right. I've been coming here with my family for years and will continue to do so for years more just because of my experience this evening! Also, the pulled pork was amazing, Mac and cheese super comforting and the fried okra was perfect. 10/10 recommend for family dinner or take out. Thank you Judy!
