Worth the wait! We made a reservation 6 weeks ago and tonight was the night! Party of 5 and we all loved our experience! The concept, the food, the service and the entertainment were all excellent! Such a great variety and there is more than enough food to fill you up! It is a marathon IYKYK They could charge double and it would still be a bargain ( but please don't) I just can't say enough. Go hungry and just take it all in. Still wow!

I live in Cleveland where the food scene is always fun and exciting, and I have to say, The Italian Fisherman experience was unlike anything I have ever had the delight of enjoying, at home or on any of my many travels. This place is a true gem to the Grant area. I travel to the area several times a year, and The Italian Fisherman has definitely made it to the top of my list for visiting on each trip.Make reservations in advance and sit and relax knowing that you will have a well thought out table and experience. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Dave and made to feel like part of the family. We had the privilege of being seated at the Godfather Table, highly recommend if offered to your group. Talk about being front and center.The moment we sat down we were greeted by our server who was very friendly and helpful. We ordered our drinks (wine or beer), and then we left the rest of the meal in their hands. I found it very refreshing to not have to sit there and spend time trying to decide what I was going to order, and having it all planned for me.The meal started with cold appetizers, then 2 plates of hot appetizers, next the main course, and after that dessert. While we were eating the mains, they even came out and put something new and different on our plate for all of us to try. It's fun to not know what you are going to get next and to be able to try a multitude of different flavors and options.Did I forget to mention the entertainment? There is a live musician playing delightful dinner music, which adds to the experience, and don't forget the magic tricks to keep everyone entertained.If you are looking for a worry-free place to go and enjoy a relaxing family style experience, The Italian Fisherman is a must. Afterwards, head out back and grab a drink in The Backyard where you will find more live music and cold drinks.

The Italian Fisherman reminds me of the family style restaurants in New York that my wife and I frequented quite often. Great food, great fun, and great service. No menus, set price, and two seatings a night that require reservations. They just keep bringing out courses until your full, and then they hit you with the dessert tray. So if you want a dining experience I can't think of a better place to go. It's advisable to wear stretch pants!
Third trip to @The Italian Fisherman in Grant. Did not think it was possible to get any better but, every visit is more fun than the last. The food was wonderful as always and we tried a few new items this time. I love how they switch it up for repeat visitors. If you haven't been yet you are missing out! It's like you are visiting a good friend and they want to wine and dine you, entertain you and spoil you. Will be back next month with new guests. I want to share this experience with as many people as I can.

David and crew do an amazing job from start to finish. Amazing family style Italian food, Great atmosphere and entertainment throughout the meal as well. Definitely recommend getting a seat at the table. Make sure to call ahead and make reservations as the two seatings tend to fill up.

A different format that may not be for everyone. There is no menu. A number of dishes will be periodically brought to the table on a large plate and shared. Appetizers, salad, mains and desserts. Wines and beers available. Two seatings 4:30 and 6:30. Reservations available for larger groups. A loud and almost raucous atmosphere which includes a guitar player/singer and the host who is very involved with humorous commentary and even card tricks at various tables. It is an experience! BTW, the food was pretty good but you end up eating quite a melange instead of concentrating on a few things you might have ordered from a menu.

I called on a Thursday to ask how the seating worked because we heard good reviews. There was a message that said they have 2 seatings 4:30 & 6:30. It also said they no longer take reservations. Me and my wife arrived at about 5:15 to see how the seating worked. I was told by the bartender that they were full for the night, I ask how that was possible there are no reservations. He referred me to someone working on the floor. I asked about eating here and told me there is no way you are eating here tonight. I asked how do I eat here and he told me you send me a text and I will tell you when I have an opening. He told me they are booked till mid April. I told him the voice message needs to be updated because obviously you take reservations. While the food may be good the reservation process and the attitude of the person I was speaking with needs a lot of work. The newness is going to wear off and they will be begging for people to come in. I'm all set with this place!
