The chocolate is great. But my son takes an evening class in the neighborhood, and three times I've gone into Hoffman's to get him a shake as a treat afterwards. And all three times I walked out empty-handed because they had run out of milk and couldn't make a shake.Guys, you charge $9.95 for a shake. A gallon of milk costs less than $5.00 retail. Take the hit and buy an extra gallon.

Did not order from them but received a gift meant for someone else at my address. Tried to call customer service, was put on hold repeatedly. So TWO red flags in customer service. I had never even heard of Hoffman Chocolates but their mistake and poor customer service certainly put a bad taste in my mouth!

What a disappointment! I recall they changed owners...but what I saw , got, experienced today was like whoaaaa. I ordered choc covered strawberries...and came to pick them up... they could not find my order, let alone my name on the list! I showed them the charge on Apple Pay! The choc covered strawberries, they were not decorated! Just dull looking chocolate covered!, not very attractive Valentine's Day gift.... the green decorative leafy stems gone.....the box felt light.....I weighed it at home....wow 12 ounces instead of 16? I ordered a pound..... I wanted to pick up a few bags of assorted candies they used to always have alllllll over the store... they had practically bupkins! , nothing! A few scattered shelves holding sparsely amount of candy!, A nearly empty store on Valentine's Day!,?? I wanted to buy a bag of chocolate hearts, the poor staff were confused and distracted by all the customers! I felt bad for them and decided not to add to their misery and put the bag down and left the store. Will I return? Meh

This was the biggest disappointment of the season. Here we were planning over a month this family event to go to Hoffman's Chocolates winter Wonderland event. We were so excited to see the lights and go ice skating with the grandchildren. The events were all over social media and on their phone which they by the way they never respond to. As soon as we arrived and parked our cars, there was a sign on the door saying that there was no winter wonderland and it was temporarily closed. However, the chocolate and ice cream stores were open. As soon as we walked in mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus were there to greet us and take pictures. The whole thing was a ploy. All the hype and media attention was to get us to the store and buy chocolate and ice cream. We were extremely disappointed and because of this we will never go back. The chocolate and ice cream were overly expensive. Two scoops of ice cream in a small cup was seven dollars. The chocolates were $35 a pound. We were told that the winter wonderland has not taken place in over two years since the corporation purchased Hoffman chocolates. Also, as I was about to write my review on yelp, a coupon appeared for two free toppings on ice cream at Hoffmans. Since I had already purchased my ice cream, I decided to give it to another customer. We brought it to the attention of the cashier and she was obviously unaware of this coupon and called her boss. She told us that they don't do this anymore, but felt bad and gave the customer the free two toppings since I showed it. All of it is fraudulent marketing is this right to do during the Christmas season? Where is the spirit of the holiday?

Chocolate is the flavor and you will not be dissapointed. Sample as much as you can and make your selection wisely, it will be a tough one. Nice service and good ambiance. Nice location as well.

Overall this place delivers. The selections of chocolate conventions is massive and arrayed. I found their service to be a bit on the wacky side with multiple different people coming in and out of the back area. I wasn't greeted either when I walked in which I was expecting. My son and I got some ice cream and it was delicious and carefully curated by the sweet young lady behind the counter. We used the free two toppings promo on yelp as well as a save around book coupon so we got two for one ice creams! Can't go wrong with a deal like that! The facility was clean and aside from the non greeting and the hectic moment when I presented two coupons, everything was handled well! I recommend for all chocolate lovers to check it out! The outside is still picturesque and they have a lovely presentation when you walk in. It's a good well established place for sweets!

West of time to drive to Hoffman’s place to see lighting. There was nothing there.

Chocolate!I really do enjoy a good piece of chocolate and Hoffman's is the place that consistently delivers. This location in Greenacres was one of the first stores I went to a few years back. Since then, it is a regular stop for occasions and holidays to help me satisfy the sweet tooth of the people in my life. The store sits on a corner of busy Lake Worth Rd but there is ample parking - except when they do the holiday lights in the backyard area. That is something to see and hopefully it will return when all of this pandemic nonsense is over with.In any case, the store is large and sort of has that English Tudor look to it when you pull up to park. There are essentially two halves to the whole here: ice cream to the left and chocolate everywhere else. The ice cream side is a little café with tables. Great for those after-dinner dessert cravings.Me, I prefer the chocolate. The showroom has a lot of pre-packaged chocolate selections that you can grab and go or, if you are picky like me, you can go right up to the bulk display and select the items that you want.Prices are not exactly cheap - but you will definitely notice the difference from these goodies than from packaged chocolate you get at the supermarket. A world of difference!I have a specific set of stuff I like so I get my box and head on home to dive into my goodies. Nom-nom.Absolutely worth a visit if you are in the area or know someone that just loves chocolate.Parking lot around the outside

So disappointing that you can't order/send gift size anymore...fortune cookies have minimum orders, etc. great for party favors or corporate gifts. Have used this company for decades....

Father's Day was quickly approaching and I was stumped. My dad has everything and he's out of state, so I needed to have something delivered. I wanted to send something he can nosh on because he loves his sweets. My dad eats cake every morning for breakfast, yet he never puts on weight. At 70 something, I say let him eat cake. I found these giant fortune cookies right here on Yelp! I thought they were cute and would make a unique gift. Each cookie can be personalized with your choice of chocolate and ribbons. I sent my dad a father's day cookie which I had dipped in dark chocolate and it was decorated with tiny blue candies. I chose the dark navy ribbon to complement the package. I also sent a birthday cookie to my dad's wife who's birthday was the day before father's day. The birthday cookie I also had dipped in dark chocolate and it was decorated with confetti candies. I picked a pretty pink ribbon to match the candies. A fortune cookie wouldn't be complete without a fortune. At no additional cost you can personalize your fortune to make the gift truly unique. Basically the cookie is both a card and a present all in one. You can't go wrong. You can order online at www.goodfortunes.com or you can order with a "cookie counselor" over the phone. I ordered over the phone since I had some shipping concerns. All my questions were answered and I felt comfortable placing the order. They shipped my order out the next day and my package arrived in New York in two days. The cookies were packaged well with stryofoam and ice packs. Although the cookies did not melt, the ice pack was almost melted when it arrived at my dad's house. Most importantly both cookies arrived in perfect condition. No breakage, yay! I am holding back the 5th star because the shipping fee was very high. I understand that it was shipped via UPS and arrived in two days but it seemed high to me. This won't stop me from ordering again. If you are local you can pick up your order at their location on Lake Worth Road in Greenacres, Florida. Good Fortunes does everything from corporate gifts to wedding favors. They have regular sized cookies or the gigantic ones that come in at nearly one pound. All the cookies are able to be personalized and you can mail them a gift card to hide in the cookie too. Lot's of choices and it's all up to you to design the perfect cookie to make the perfect gift. I recommend Good Fortunes and I will definitely be using them again.
