Always such a nice place - good authentic Portuguese home cooked food. Service is great, portions are huge. It’s a very friendly cozy place to eat. A word of warning- there are no windows so from the outside it looks like it’s not open.

Ideal spot for charcoal grill items.Carlos the owner was onsite and recommended several items.Tried their lamb chops, clams and blood sausage. Happy to report the texture and flavor was on point with a full flavored and very generous portion of lamb. The blood sausage came with pickled vegetables that offset the salty umami flavor with tart counterpoint while the clams came in a broth of garlic that begged for an indulgent dip of bread.Wine list was aggressively priced to encourage bottle vs glasses with a broad selection available to pair with the grilled dishes.Ambiance is laid back and dishes are served family style.Staff did not rush me as I enjoyed several courses and were happy to accommodate my request to slowly bring each round out. Espresso to finish up was a nice end to a meal. Will be back to try other items on the menu with friends.

This is a GREAT and authentic Portuguese restaurant. At first I was skeptical as the dining room was completely empty on Saturday at 6 pm. Thankfully we decided to start with shrimp in garlic. It was so good we decided to stay. We ate for 3 hours. We had caldo con bacalao, fresh snapper, octopus and clams and pork medallions with clams. The portions were very generous. We finished off with cappuccino and the small tarts. The waitress, Carla went above and beyond. We will be returning for sure.

Excellent spot for AUTHENTIC Portuguese food! Staff is extremely friendly and attentive; would recommend to all, near and far! Stopped by for a meal before flying back to New Jersey and felt like I was in Newark before I even got on the plane.

Stopped in with 11 of us. We tried some of everything. All the meals were amazing. We had the sardines and they were cooked perfectly. Also had the bitoque. Steak with the egg. They were cooked to perfection. Also had the Cameron mosembique and bife a Portugal and there where no complaints. The bacalhau grilled was also amazing. Hard some shots and espressos to finish it all off. Will definitely be back the next time in town. It's a little dark in here but the friendly staff definitely brightens up the place.

First time here. The food was outstanding. My partner and I started off with the shrimp patties and the fish patties as an appetizer: they were delicious. We also had the kale soup which was also fantastic. They brought us some fresh warm complementary bread and a dish of olives. I had the green wine and my partner had the Portuguese liquor Beirao For our main course we had a very large platter that had rice beans fried potatoes (like French fries) perfectly grilled juicy flavorful half chicken and beef. The platter could feed three maybe four. My partner had a second Beirao after dinner. The bill without tip was $60. We took half the platter home. Will definitely be going back very often. Was like being in Portugal. Great experience.Parking: No issues with parking

We moved from RI and live permanently in Florida. Iberia has one of the best Carne de Porco Alentejana that we've had. Comparing with some of the restaurants in RI, it is one of the best, very tasty. The salmon dish was also excellent. The chicken breast with "garlic" gravy was to die for. When we were there last Sunday, we believe it was the owner who waited on us. He was very friendly and efficient. He knew right away that some in our group were Portuguese (Acoreanos). Thank you for everything. I would recommend Iberia for a special occasion. They are not "pricey" for what they give you. Muito obrigado.

Stopped in for lunch and was very impressed. I had the cod cakes with rice and beans and perfect handcut fries. Also came with a creamy kale and sausage soup, warm bread, olives and drink and desert. Great tasty meal and couldn't come close to finishing. Cozy but light were a little too bright. Friendly service and WILL go

Former Jersey boy here and where you can find the best Portuguese food (Newark) outside Portugal. Iberia did not disappoint. You come to an establishment like this for the awesome food not the ambience. Restaurant was extremely clean and service was attentive. The bacalao was perfect, extensive Portuguese beers and wine are available.

Great spot. Was looking for something similar to this Portuguese spot I used to get when I lived in NJ. Didn’t disappoint. Chicken & Pork Rib combo is the way to go. Chicken is juicy and tender. Ribs are perfectly seasoned. Both have that smokey flavor from the grill. Highly recommend.
