Was extremely disappointed with our meals today, especially with the Pork Chop we took home for my dad (it was extremely rough & he couldn’t eat it).My mom’s steak was overcooked, like leather and hard to chew. She did like the beans. My arroz con gandules were without any flavor and cold. The pastele was also cold. The pork was ok. I didn’t like the taste of the hot sauce. We only ate everything because we were very hungry and tired.I generally don’t like making a complaint, because every restaurant could have a bad day , but when I saw how awfully overcooked & inedible my father’s Pork Chop was, I felt I had to let everyone know that this was unacceptable.

Las más mejores abichuelas you can get outside of la isla de encanto. I was wonderfully pleased! The beans really make me want to just come back again y otraves! I wish they had aguacate but I can’t be super picky over one thing. My mom said the alcapuria was small but it did not look great as you would find in a cuchifrito! Nice! The owner is super chévere and we had a nice chat towards the end about his business. I would highly recommend this place. The wait time on the comida is over by the you finish the menu. I love and support small business. Please check them out and get those freaking beans! I paid a lot for the meal but I also took a lot of treats home that you can only usually find online or in PR. Get them too! Cómelo!

We found this place by accident today and what a pleasant accident it was! The food is absolutely amazing. The Mofongo was out of this world. My kids had the chicken soup, and it tasted like a sweet grandmother made it, it was full of soul and love. The restaurant itself looks like a plain Jane, but nothing inside of it was! We got takeout to bring home to my husband and he said it was some of the best Puerto Rican food he has ever had.

Not setup for regular dining, just a few tables. Most people order ahead and pickup to take home. Food and service are excellent.

The best mom and pop Latin food, friendliest service, and owners in South Florida. From start to finish it was another 5 star experience, and the prices are extremely reasonable. I'll be back again.
Ordered arroz con gandulez with tostones and steak with onions. I was excited to eat here was told they have great food but I guess my experience was different, the tostones looked like they cooked it several times and taste stale. My steak was cold and rubbery advised the waitress and she stated she can throw it back on the grill at this point I just looked at her and said no cause it was going to dry the steak more the rice was ok. It will be the last time I will eat there again. Nothing was fresh

The owners are very nice people and the service is on point. My food was good but the mofongo was a bit dry and had no pork cracking on it. The chuleta Kan Kan was delish and well season. I will definitely go back.

I ate here today and was very disappointed, chicken breast was rubber and inedible. Rice portion was small and not good at all my sons order of fries was under cooked and raw like it just came out the freezer. I think my food was microwaved and I couldn’t eat it. I almost went in the restaurant next door but decided to try them instead and I regret it. Way over priced for the quality of the food and portion size, sorry but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE save your money
