This restaurant is fantastic for authentic Caribbean curried goat, cabbage, red beans/rice, and ox tails. Often when my husband and I are in Orlando, we travel over to Haines City to visit this establishment for the delicious, piping hot, fresh foods. We feel that it is well worth the drive and the servings are plentiful, prices reasonable, atmosphere good and clean. *J & K McRae

The place is hard to find from the Main Street but you can see the store in the middle. We ordered the ox tail and brown chicken stew and it was amazing! To me this is a hole in the wall. Looks to me this is owned by mom and daughter. I would totally support small business. If you are in the neighborhood, swing by and give it a try.

I was there this afternoon. The food tasted stale. The cashier did not close my carry out tray completely, so half of it wasted into the bag. And she looked and smelled as if she hadn’t showered in a year. Her breath was stank, she was dirty looking and smelled horrible. I was going to say something to her but my mother taught me manners… but y’all really shouldn’t have people with bad hygiene around people’s food. She was unfriendly and unprofessional…

This place has really gone down hill since the new owner took over. The parking is horrible. The food is nasty. No flavor to it whatsoever…would not recommend. If I could I would give it a negative 5 stars rating. The woman at the register was rude and unprofessional.

We are here often but when there is time in between visits, the owner always remembers us and our orders. The food is delicious and you can tell they take pride in their cooking. You can tell when a person loves to cook! Recommend this to everyone!
