For the good stuff - I had their chicken tamales and my boyfriend had the chimichanga with tamarind aqua frescas. Absolutely DELICIOUS. Flavorful, meat was juicy and tender, the rice and beans had SAZON. Sometimes I go to Mexican restaurants and their beans and rice are very lackluster. Not here. It was all delicious I ordered a plate to go to have some for lunch the next day.The bad - the service was a bit lacking. We waited a really long time for someone to take our order, you can tell they are really understaffed that day. The hostess and our server were incredibly sweet and apologetic though which is nice we tipped very well it’s not their fault. But yeah be prepared to possibly wait a while but the food was really worth it tbh.

My first visit based on recommendation from an aquaintance. This is a no frills casual restaurant. It seemed clean. The service was good. The food was fresh and nicely seasoned.My husband had Guacamole appetizer, and Chicken & Shrimp Fajita. The chicken and shrimp were cooked perfectly. I tried Pork Chimichanga for the first time. It was smothered with sour cream even though I asked to withhold it. It was salty too. Portion size were pretty generous and the prices very reasonable.I plan to visit again.

I would drive past this restaurant so many times wondering how the food here tasted and I finally got to try it with my husband over a week ago. I looked at the menu and ordered quesadillas, expecting to get a plate with just quesadillas, just to end up getting a full meal! The rice was absolutely delicious, the beans were really good and the quesadillas as well. My husband ordered flautas and he thought they were really good. We were in love with the sauce and guacamole we got with our chips for appetizers. I haven't tried that many guacamoles, but this one was so delicious with just avocado and cilantro. I truly loved the simplicity of it ?? Then outside they had an ice cream place and we ordered a chocolate ice cream cone and a cheesecake ice cream waffle bowl and the waffle cone and bowl were so yummy. Y'all really have to try that cheesecake ice cream! ?

I GOT A FLY ON THE CHIPS!! Terrible service!! I didn't see any good intention to serve you well. The cool waters are very old. I made them see that the fly came out and I showed it to the waiter and they went unnoticed!!! They completely ignored me!! No apology.

What a disappointment. The food is so basic and uninspired. What a waste of ingredients. Order shrimp taco and beef tacos both were insanely dry. No lettuce, tomato or sauce. Not even a drizzle. Just tacos, shrimp onion, no finesse. I could have prepared the meal at home. No flavor to compensate lack of accompaniments. I undertstand being the puriest and keeping food authentic but this was neither. The guacamole tasted store bought. I have had better from Sam's club. No lime, onions tomatoes, CILANTRO, NOTHING. Just crushed avocado in a bowl. I won't begin to discuss the fried pita chips being passed off for tortilla chips. Nor will I discuss the left over dry tamales in the fridge that I am hoping someone will eat so all my money won't be wasted. This was a colossal waste of my money. I did not enjoy it and will not return. There has to be an abuela in a food truck that will put this place to shame.

If you want homemade scratch Mexican food this is your place. The food is just so good. The service was excellent and friendly. The only reason I gave a 4 for atmosphere was the tables are wobbly. Eat here and trust me you will leave happy and full.
