I felt discriminated against, I don't feel like I was treated the same as the rest of the customers sitting at the bar. Preference for white Americans or native speakers and frequent customers I didn't feel welcome from the moment I sat at the bar. I felt that the bartenders looked for excuses to make me uncomfortable and leave the place. I didn't feel welcome at all. I felt discriminated against in the treatment I received. As soon as I sat down, I asked the bartender for the menu. She knew that my main intention was to eat, because I wanted to make use of a coupon for 10 dollars off and I had told her that I wanted to make use of it. It was at that moment that he told me that the kitchen was closed and that he would notify me when it was open. I was surprised because I saw everyone eating and the place was full of customers. So I ordered a Spanish cava and not even 15 minutes passed when another customer sits down at the bar and the first thing he asks him what I want to order to eat. They clearly knew I was waiting to order the food and I was never notified that the kitchen was open. In addition to this, the service I received in those brief 15 minutes was one of discomfort because I was asking about the drinks menu. I asked to speak to the manager, and he was annoyed by my complaint, he downplayed it. It must be that my accented English also bothered him, as the rest of the clients because they were PREDOMINANTLY WHITE AMERICAN in an area like South Florida had priority or preference over the other customers. That's when the doubt jumps out at me, could it be that this FLANIGANS, wants to differentiate itself by having a mostly white American and native speaking client?

Actually went here twice on our recent eight day stay in Hallandale Beach. They do have outdoor seating but it is basically overlooking a parking lot and quite warm. On the day we arrived went for lunch. Great little perks during the week - we were there on a Tuesday. Buy a pitcher (beer or soft drinks) and get a free order of "Tumbleweed Onions". Huge basket of thinly cut onion rings. Nice starter. They also offer $6.99 lunch specials. My wife got a half chicken and two sides for $7!! Burgers are quite good and also come with a choice of two sides for around $13. Decent beer selection and the pitchers are large. Went back on a Friday to get the ribs. No deals on Friday unless you sit at the bar. Physically at the bar, not the room the bar is in. We were less than two feet from the bar , but no deals. Very loud. Was somewhat disappointed with the service as it seems our waitress kept forgetting about us. Ribs were decent but not something I would rave about. I have a feeling they are prepared in a central (offsite) kitchen then reheated as needed. I got the full rack and my wife the half. Hard to tell who had more to eat. I would go back for mid-week lunch but not weekend dinner.

We had the half rack ribs with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. The food was good. The service of the waitress, not. She did not tell us during ordering that we have to pay a supplement for the sweet potato fries. It was not listed on the menu!

This is a chain and used to be our go to place for ribs and prime rib. Unfortunately, this particular one was disappointing. The quality of the ribbed on the last occasion was actually disturbing, nothing like the old days. The prime rib ordered was medium rare but what arrived was rare. The shrimps over cooked. So can’t say that I’ll be going back o the near term. Maybe it was a one night event but truly doubt it. Something has changed here and not for the good. There is always a wait so you have to be ready to sit for at least 20-30 mins. The servers, well one or two seemed to be really friendly and courteous while another one probably just wanted to get off her shift. It is unfortunate as this place used to have consistently good food but guess it’s under new management. Would be interested to hear from any of you, if it has improved.

Ribs are great; Caesar salad is tasty and generous. Cal slaw is as expected. Service is fast and efficient. Only drawback is the high volume of music but then it’s part of the ambiance.

I stopped by here while on a short visit. It was, of course, as busy as ever. I was able to get a seat at the bar and met some nice people. I ordered the mahi. It was excellent as usual.

In on a Wednesday at 3:30 for an early dinner. This place is SOOOO loud. Had a craving for fried fish. Very busy but got seated right away. I hoped they might have snapper or grouper but only Mahi or Tilapia. Ordered the Tilapia fried with French fries, cold slaw and Tarter sauce. $15.99 Had a long wait coming out. The fish was good, as was the portion. The fries were just warm, not hot. Cold slaw was good but small. Tarter sauce was ok but VERY small. Will be back for something else.

We had the bread rolls for starter with were amazing, so buttery! We also had the firecracker shrimp which was delicious and spicy. We then had the Mahi-mahi sand which which was good and the baby back ribs, probably some of the best ribs we’ve ever had!

Why I am getting charged 6 dollars to just place an order over the phone for pick up? I am the one picking it up, is my inconvenience not yours. Also, last week I ordered food at the same time I did today at 12:00 PM and I got the lunch special deal. Today, i am told that lunch specials are only for dine in. As a regular Flanigans customer I I can say I am very disappointed. Your guys are just getting out of hand. Stop trying to make more money of just one person alone. Unbelievable experience today. I’ll make sure I won’t visit Flanigans anytime soon since I was told the prices just went up because of inflation and our current economy. I’ll make sure to share my experience today with people I know to not visit Flanigan’s. Horrible experience, disappointed with the customer service. Would not recommend. Don’t go!!
